## Description

For listeners who want to assess recordings and hear music with a neutral, detailed presentation, the Sennheiser HD 560S combines open-back earcups with angled drivers. Its reference-focused tuning suits analytical listening, while smooth bass response helps keep full, modern tracks engaging. The over-ear design and soft velour earpads are made for comfortable listening sessions.

Choose the HD 560S for a spacious, open listening experience, a closed-back design may be a better fit when sound isolation is the priority. For music evaluation, production tasks or gaming in a quieter setting, the angled drivers and articulated soundstage help make details easier to follow.

The open earcups let sound waves propagate naturally, and the angled driver alignment is designed to create a wide, articulate soundstage. The detachable cable makes it practical to connect the headphones to a compatible audio source and replace or disconnect the cable when needed.

## Tips for day-to-day use
Use the HD 560S with a compatible wired source, such as a computer, audio interface, headphone amplifier or hi-fi component. The supplied connection options support 3.5 mm and 6.3 mm headphone outputs, so you can match the plug to your setup. For focused listening, music work or gaming, an environment where sound from the open-back earcups is appropriate will let you concentrate on the audio without relying on noise cancellation.

Buyers often praise the sound for music listening and production, and many describe the headphones as comfortable during longer sessions. Feedback on fit and clamping force is mixed, so personal comfort can vary.

## Box contents
The package includes the HD 560S headphones, a detachable cable, a 6.3 mm adapter and an owner’s manual. The cable’s 3.5 mm plug and adapter give you connection options for compatible audio equipment.

## Practical questions
**Are the HD 560S wireless?** No. These are wired headphones with a detachable cable, designed to connect through an audio jack.

**Can I use them for music production and listening comparisons?** Yes. Their neutral reference tuning and wide, articulate soundstage are intended for analytical listening, including evaluating music and comparing recordings or formats.

**What headphone connections are supported?** The cable has a 3.5 mm plug, and the included 6.3 mm adapter supports compatible equipment with that larger headphone jack.

## When it makes sense
The HD 560S is a strong match for listeners who value a neutral presentation, an open soundstage and a wired connection for music analysis, production, gaming or everyday listening in a suitable setting. Its detachable cable, two plug sizes and over-ear velour pads make it especially practical for a dedicated desk or hi-fi setup where detail and comfort matter.
