## Description

Bluetooth 5.0 lets the Sanyun SW208 play audio wirelessly from a compatible phone, tablet or computer, while wired USB and 3.5 mm AUX connections offer straightforward alternatives. Its compact two-speaker design brings stereo sound to a desk or shelf without making your setup revolve around a single speaker.

A built-in 24-bit DAC handles digital audio over USB, and the carbon fibre speaker units are rated at 60W total output. Adjust the volume, bass and treble with the controls on the main speaker to tailor playback for music, films or games.

## Key features

The SW208 is a 2.0 bookshelf speaker set with 3-inch carbon fibre drivers and Bluetooth 5.0. For a computer desk, that means you can connect over USB or 3.5 mm AUX, then use Bluetooth when you want to stream from a phone or tablet instead. The built-in 24-bit DAC receives digital audio over USB, while Bluetooth provides a cable-free listening option for compatible devices.

Side-mounted controls put volume, bass and treble adjustments within easy reach. You can make small changes to suit different audio, whether you’re listening to music while working or switching to a film after hours. The white finish gives the speakers a clean look on a desk, shelf or in a study.

## Best use cases

These speakers suit a computer or laptop setup where you want two-channel audio for everyday listening, video and gaming. They’re also useful in a shared listening space: connect a computer by USB or AUX for desk use, then stream from a compatible phone or tablet over Bluetooth when you want to play music from another device. Bluetooth range is listed as up to 10 metres.

Compared with choosing a single compact speaker for a desk, the SW208’s two-speaker layout is designed for stereo playback. Its bookshelf format also gives you the option of placing the pair on a shelf rather than keeping them directly beside a monitor. The best fit is a setup that can make use of a pair of speakers and their wired or wireless connection choices.

## Everyday use

For a typical workday, connect the speakers to a computer by USB or 3.5 mm AUX and keep the main speaker’s controls close at hand. When it’s time to play music from a phone or tablet, Bluetooth 5.0 offers another way to connect. The same combination of inputs makes the set practical for a desk that serves more than one listening source.

Buyers often praise the sound and appearance, and mention using the speakers for computer listening and music during work. Feedback is mixed on Bluetooth connection, reliability and volume, so these experiences are best treated as individual impressions rather than guaranteed outcomes. For setup, the useful advantage is having both wired inputs and Bluetooth, plus physical controls for adjusting the sound to your preference.

## Should you buy it?

Worth considering if you want a compact stereo pair for computer audio, casual gaming, films or music, with the flexibility to switch between USB, AUX and Bluetooth. The 3-inch carbon fibre drivers, built-in 24-bit DAC and adjustable bass and treble give the Sanyun SW208 useful features for a desk or shelf listening setup, while its two-speaker format suits anyone looking for stereo playback rather than a single-speaker solution.
