## Description

At 17 inches, the Saiyin soundbar fits neatly on a desktop or in a smaller TV area. Its compact format suits setups where space matters, while 40W maximum output and two full-range speakers bring stereo audio to movies, music and games. Choose Bluetooth for wireless streaming or use an optical or AUX connection for a wired setup.

## Practical tips
Place the soundbar on a desk or mount it on the wall using the included mounting kit. For TV audio over optical, select optical output and PCM stereo in the TV or streaming app settings, and turn off Dolby or DTS. This helps the soundbar receive a supported signal. On a computer, connect through the AUX input, the optical and AUX cables are included.

Use the remote to switch among Music, Movie and News equalizer modes, or choose the setting that best suits what you’re listening to. For a straightforward movie night, connect the TV by optical, select Movie mode and keep the soundbar close to the screen. If you prefer music from a phone or tablet, Bluetooth provides a cable-free way to stream audio. The unit also has a SUB OUT connection for an active subwoofer.

## What stands out
This model brings several everyday connection options into one compact speaker. Bluetooth is useful for streaming from a mobile device, while optical and AUX offer wired connections for compatible TVs, computers and other audio sources. That flexibility suits a household that switches between TV viewing and desktop listening without wanting a larger speaker setup.

The three EQ modes let you choose between Music, Movie and News without changing the source connection. A remote makes those adjustments convenient from the sofa, and the soundbar can also be operated with its buttons. The included wall-mounting kit gives you another placement option when desk or TV-stand space is limited. The SUB OUT port supports an active subwoofer for a setup with a separate powered bass speaker.

Buyer feedback often praises the sound and ease of setup, while opinions on connectivity and the remote are mixed. Some buyers also mention static or hissing, so feedback on noise is not uniformly positive. These comments are useful context alongside the soundbar’s documented connection and control options.

## What to clarify
Can I connect the soundbar to a TV using optical? Yes. Connect the optical cable, set the TV’s audio output to optical and choose PCM stereo. Disable Dolby or DTS in the TV or streaming app settings.

Can I stream audio over Bluetooth? Yes. Bluetooth is one of the soundbar’s connection options. You can also connect a compatible source through the optical or AUX input.

Can I add a subwoofer? The SUB OUT port supports an active subwoofer. It is intended for a powered subwoofer rather than a passive model.

## Final verdict
For a compact TV, bedroom or desktop setup, the Saiyin DS6301-CA combines stereo sound, three listening modes and a choice of Bluetooth, optical or AUX connections in a 17-inch format. It’s a practical fit when you want a dedicated soundbar that can serve both everyday TV listening and music playback without taking up much space.
