## Description

For job sites and other work areas that need temporary lighting spread across a space, the RUISUN RMS-H5-4S-6000 offers a practical string-light layout. Its five LED lights are spaced along a 50 ft strand. They deliver 5,000 lumens of 5,000K daylight white light while using 50W.

## Why it’s worth it

Rather than concentrating illumination at a single work light, this linked strand distributes light along the area where work is happening. That layout can help bring illumination to darker corners of a workspace, whether you’re setting up in a garage, attic, basement or on a construction site. The daylight-white colour temperature provides a clear, consistent-looking light for tasks that call for visibility across a work zone.

For a larger temporary setup, the lights can be connected in series with a standard US plug, with up to 10 strings linked together. This gives you a way to extend the lighting layout across a longer work area instead of relying on one central fixture. The LED source produces 5,000 lumens while drawing 50W, making the stated light output and power use useful considerations when planning temporary lighting.

## What matters most

The five lights are arranged along a 50 ft strand, with 10 feet between each light. This spacing is useful when you want illumination distributed down a linear work area rather than focused in one spot. A single-head work light may suit a task centred around one location, this string-light format is better suited to spreading light across a site, garage or other space that needs several illuminated points.

For indoor or outdoor use, the strand is rated IP65 and ETL Listed for wet-location use. Its weatherproof PVC coating and 18 AWG wire are described as resistant to abrasion, moisture and prolonged UV exposure. The lights are also rated IK07 and described as shatterproof. Installation is straightforward: use the included carabiner clip to hang the strand, then plug it in. It can be used in areas such as job sites, crawl spaces, basements and outdoor markets where temporary lighting is needed.

## Practical tips

Plan the hanging route before plugging in, so the strand can run along the work area and the lights sit where they’ll be useful. The carabiner clip supports hanging installation, while the wired, plug-in design suits temporary setups near an appropriate power outlet. For a longer layout, connect compatible strings using the standard US plug, up to the stated maximum of 10 linked strings. The five-year warranty is another practical detail for buyers choosing lighting for repeated project use.

## Before you decide

**How bright and what colour is the light?** The strand provides 5,000 lumens of 5,000K daylight-white light, with five LED light sources spaced along its length.

**Can I use more than one strand?** Yes. The linkable design supports connecting up to 10 strings together with a standard US plug, which can extend coverage across a larger temporary work area.

**Is it intended for outdoor use?** Yes. It is designed for indoor and outdoor use, has an IP65 rating and is ETL Listed for wet-location use. Its 50 ft layout is suited to distributing temporary light across a workspace.

## Is it worth it?

A solid pick if you need temporary lighting spread over a work area rather than concentrated at one point. The 50 ft strand, five spaced lights, 5,000-lumen daylight output and linkable design make it a useful fit for construction work, garages and other indoor or outdoor spaces where a flexible lighting layout helps keep the task area visible.
