Rugtol’s black bungee cords adjust from 7 to 48 inches, so one set can handle a range of tie-down tasks. Each cord has a fixed hook at one end and an adjustable hook at the other. This lets you change the effective length to suit the item and attachment points, whether you are packing camping gear or organizing equipment. The 12-pack is made for practical indoor and outdoor use. Thai latex and rubber provide the stretch, while the carabiner-style hooks support quick attachment to suitable racks, tent poles and other secure points. ## Practical tips Set the adjustable end to the length needed for the load, then fasten both hooks to secure points. For a camping setup, these cords can help hold a tarp in place or keep gear together, around the garage, they can bundle and organize equipment. They are also suited to bike racks, roof racks and clotheslines. The adjustable range is useful when attachment points vary. Rather than choosing among several fixed-length cords for different tasks, you can adapt each cord to the setup at hand. Keep the cord’s path clear of sharp edges and moving parts when tying down or organizing items, and use appropriate anchor points for the task. ## Strengths The mix of a fixed hook and an adjustable hook gives each cord a straightforward way to connect and change length. That flexibility helps when securing items of different sizes or when the distance between attachment points changes from one use to another. Carabiner-style hooks make it practical to attach and remove the cords as needed. The rubber and Thai latex construction is designed to stretch, with the product information describing expansion to around 1.7 to 2 times its original size. The hooks have a rust-resistant electrophoretic coating, supporting use in both indoor and outdoor settings. Together, the elastic cord and adjustable fastening offer a versatile tie-down option for travel, camping and everyday storage. ## Highlights This set includes 12 black adjustable bungee cords, each listed at 48 inches and adjustable from 7 to 48 inches. The cords are intended for cargo, camping equipment, bike racks, tents, tarps, roof racks and clotheslines. Their broad adjustment range makes them useful when a fixed-size tie-down would not match the distance between the load and its anchor points. For a road trip, for example, the adjustable ends can be set to suit gear being secured to a rack. At a campsite, the same style of cord can help attach a tarp or tent-related equipment. The alloy clasp hooks provide a practical fastening point, while the stretch helps accommodate different setups. ## What to clarify **How do you adjust the cord length?** One end has a fixed hook and the other an adjustable hook.
