## Description

For video creators, interviewers and mobile presenters who need a microphone that connects directly to a phone, the RICCHI J1 wireless lavalier set offers two clip-on microphones for recording on the move.

The plug-in receiver pairs without Bluetooth or an app. USB-C and Lightning options make it practical for compatible iPhone and Android recording setups.

Noise reduction is designed to help keep speech clear in noisy environments, while the LED display gives you a quick view of the microphone indicators during a session.

## Who it’s for

This set is suited to people recording vlogs, TikTok videos, podcasts, interviews, livestreams or online meetings with a smartphone. Clip-on microphones let you wear the mic while keeping your hands free to hold a phone, demonstrate a product or move naturally on camera. With two microphones in the set, it can also support recording with two speakers.

For a quick recording, plug the receiver into the phone, clip on a microphone and begin. That direct connection is a straightforward alternative to setting up a separate wireless system with an app. Customers often highlight the simple phone connection and its usefulness for video recording. Feedback on sound is generally positive, while opinions differ on how well the noise reduction handles surrounding sounds.

For some Android phones, turn on the OTG function in the phone’s settings before pairing. The receiver does not need charging, and it can pass charging power to a connected smartphone so you can record while charging. This is useful for longer sessions when keeping the phone powered matters.

## Benefits

The receiver’s plug-in setup keeps the recording process simple: connect it to the phone instead of pairing through Bluetooth or installing an app. USB-C and the included Lightning adapter cover the connection types listed for the set, so it can fit into different mobile recording setups. Check that the connector matches your phone before recording.

Noise reduction is intended to help identify the original voice in a noisy setting, and the wireless connection allows movement while filming. The stated transmission range is up to 65 feet, with a delay of 0.009 seconds. The LED display and four indicators make it easier to see the microphone’s status at a glance. For a two-person interview or conversation, the two included clip-on microphones provide a ready-made option without relying on a single phone microphone for both speakers.

## Final verdict

The RICCHI J1 is a practical fit for smartphone-first content creation, from short-form videos to interviews and online meetings. Its two clip-on microphones, direct receiver connection, USB-C and Lightning support, and phone charging through the receiver bring useful flexibility to everyday recording. Choose it when you want a compact wireless lavalier setup for capturing speech while filming with a compatible phone.
