REVIX REX117 Reusable Gel Ice Pack, 16 x 9 in, Hands-Free Strap

For adults seeking a hands-free cold compress for the lower back or shoulder, the REVIX REX117 combines a flexible gel pack with a stretchy strap. Its 16 x 9 in active area provides coverage across larger areas of the body.

The reusable pack can also be applied to areas such as the hip, knee, elbow, thigh, shin and calf. Use it at home after a workout or as part of a routine for soothing everyday discomfort.

A plush side offers a soft-feeling contact surface, while the nylon construction and adjustable strap make it easier to keep the pack in place as you sit or move around.

Getting the most from it

The strap gives this compress a practical advantage over a handheld ice pack: it can stay positioned on the body without needing to be held in place. That’s useful when you want to rest, read or carry on with a light activity while applying cold to the lower back or shoulder. The flexible gel is designed to remain pliable after freezing, helping it sit against the area being treated rather than acting like a rigid block.

Its broad active area and multi-purpose design also make it suitable for other listed areas, including the hip, knee, elbow, thigh, shin and calf. The pack is reusable, washable and made with extra-thick nylon and wide, double-sealed edges. The plush lining is intended to help prevent condensation and frostbite, while the nylon cover supports deeper cold penetration. Follow the product’s care and use directions when preparing and applying the pack.

Buyers often highlight the soft feel against the skin and the convenience of securing the pack with its strap. Feedback is mixed on how long it stays cold, how it fits, and whether the strap length suits a particular body area, so those details may shape how it works for your routine.

What you get

The pack is supplied as a single blue REVIX gel ice pack. It offers a focused alternative to a basic loose compress when you want reusable cold therapy with a strap, especially for areas that are awkward to hold a pack against. Its flexible format and multi-area use also make it convenient to keep on hand for post-workout recovery or everyday soothing comfort at home.

Buying verdict

The REVIX REX117 is a practical choice for adults who want reusable cold therapy with a soft-sided pack and hands-free placement. Its 16 x 9 in active area, flexible gel and strap support use on the lower back, shoulder and several other body areas, making it particularly useful when staying comfortable matters as much as keeping the compress in position.
