## Description

If you need to keep outdoor electrical connections sheltered for garden lighting, seasonal decorations or equipment, the Restmo O-ECC-2 covers provide a compact enclosure for the connection point. This four-pack has four lockable latches and rubber seals at both ends, helping shield plugs and cords from water and dust in everyday outdoor settings.

Each small cover measures 18 x 5.8 x 5.8 cm and is designed for cords up to AWG14, including flat cable and braided wire. That makes it useful when a bulky electrical box would be awkward around a light string or a garden power connection.

## Highlights

The IP44-rated plastic housing creates a covered space around a connected plug, with rubber seals at both cable openings. Four latches secure the lid, while the included cable clamps hold the cords in place. Together, these details help keep the connection sheltered rather than leaving a plug junction exposed to rain, snow, dust or dirt. The rating describes the enclosure’s protection level, it is not a substitute for following the instructions for the connected electrical equipment.

Use the covers for outdoor string lights, landscape lighting, a pool pump, a garden power tool, a fountain or holiday decorations. For example, when setting up lights along a garden path, place the joined plugs inside the housing, secure the cords with the clamps and close the latches. The mounting holes and cable ties offer additional ways to position or hang the enclosure where the setup calls for it. Four covers are supplied, making it practical to protect several connection points around a seasonal display or garden.

Buyers often describe the housing as useful for outdoor protection and say it meets their expectations. Feedback is more mixed on durability, water resistance, construction and ease of use, so careful seating of the cords and closure of the lid are worthwhile parts of setting it up.

## Quick sizing guide

At 18 x 5.8 x 5.8 cm, this is the small cover size: a compact choice for an individual plug connection rather than a large junction box. It is stated to accommodate cords up to AWG14, including flat and braided styles. Consider both the cord gauge and the space taken up by the connected plug when deciding whether this enclosure suits your connection. Its narrow profile is especially useful where a larger housing would be cumbersome, while another enclosure size may better suit a larger connection arrangement.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Open the lid, place the connection inside, then position each cord through the end seals and secure it with the cable clamps before closing all four latches. Keeping the cords seated and the lid fully latched helps the enclosure do its job as a cover. Use the mounting holes or cable ties to arrange it for the installation, such as suspending a light connection or keeping a garden setup orderly. The same approach works for temporary holiday lighting and for connections used with outdoor equipment.

## Buying verdict

Choose the Restmo O-ECC-2 when a small, lockable cover is the right format for protecting plug connections across outdoor lights, garden equipment or seasonal displays. Its four-cover pack, IP44 rating, rubber-sealed ends and cord clamps bring the key parts of a tidy connection enclosure together, while the compact dimensions suit setups where a larger box would take up unnecessary space.
