Relaxcharm sleep earplugs, 40 dB NRR

For nights when snoring, traffic or household noise makes it harder to settle, Relaxcharm earplugs are designed to soften the sound without a rigid body pressing into your ear against a pillow. Their crescent-shaped outer section and soft silicone construction are intended with side sleeping in mind.

The focus here is an adaptable fit for overnight wear, rather than a hard-shell plug. That may matter if you move between sides as you sleep, though comfort and noise reduction will depend on choosing a tip that seals well for your ears.

Key specifications

These reusable earplugs have a stated, tested NRR of 40 dB. The rating signals a noise-reduction focus, not silence, the product description does not provide details about reduction at specific frequencies. That distinction matters if you’re trying to judge how well a particular sound, such as a low snore, might be softened.

The body is made from soft, flexible silicone and has a patented crescent shape intended to rest along the outer ear. The design avoids a rigid stem, while an in-canal tip forms the seal. There are four tip sizes—XS, S, M and L—plus a double-flange option. The silicone is washable and intended for repeated use. A compact case is included, and the product description states a three-year warranty.

Who it’s for

If you sleep on your side and find that conventional plugs press uncomfortably against the pillow, the low-profile, flexible shape is the main reason to consider this pair. It’s also a practical format for someone who wants washable plugs and several tip styles to try, rather than a single fixed fit.

You may be interested if a quieter sleep environment is the goal and you’re willing to spend a little time finding a comfortable seal. By design, the crescent body is meant to flex against the pillow, but the description doesn’t establish that every ear shape will find it pressure-free. It may not be a fit if you need sound completely blocked or prefer a specific noise-reduction profile that isn’t listed.

In the box

The listed package includes a compact earplug case. The description also gives five tip options: XS, S, M, L and a double-flange style. It doesn’t say how many individual pairs of each option are supplied, so treat these as fit choices rather than a confirmed count of spare tips. The case is useful for keeping the plugs together between nights or while travelling.

Before deciding

Can I wash and reuse them? The silicone plugs are described as washable and reusable. Rinse them clean as directed by the product’s care information, specific cleaning instructions aren’t included in the details provided here.

Are they intended for side sleeping? Yes. The crescent shape and flexible silicone are presented as ways to reduce pressure from a pillow, while the in-canal tip is meant to help maintain the seal as you move.

Will they remove every sound? No such guarantee is given. The stated NRR is 40 dB, but the description doesn’t promise silence or explain how different types of noise are affected.

Veredicto final

These make the most sense if side-sleeping comfort, reusable silicone and a choice of tip styles matter more to you than a detailed breakdown of sound performance. Compared with a basic rigid plug, the flexible crescent design has a clearer comfort-focused purpose, compared with a product offering frequency-specific results, there’s less information to judge how it will handle your particular noise. The key trade-off is that you’ll need to find a tip that seals securely without feeling intrusive.
