## Compatibility & requirements
For a suitable fit, compare your dog’s neck and chest measurements with the listed dimensions before choosing this Large vest. The two buckle closures at the neck and belly make the jacket easier to put on and take off, and the leash ring provides a place to attach a leash during supervised outings. Its design is intended for water activities such as boating, canoeing and swimming.

## Getting the most from it
Use the vest when heading out on the water, and take advantage of its features for different parts of the outing: attach a leash at the D-ring when you want to keep your dog close, and use the back handle if you need to grasp or lift them quickly. Reflective bands and the bright green colour help with visibility, while the water-resistant polyester construction suits outdoor use. Hand wash the jacket to care for it after an outing.

Looking for more than a flotation vest alone? This design combines buoyancy with a rescue handle, leash attachment point and reflective details. Owners also describe using it for activities such as paddleboarding, and some appreciate its fit and non-bulky feel. Those impressions can help inform a choice, while your dog’s measurements remain the practical guide to fit.

## When it makes sense
Worth considering if your plans include boating, canoeing, swimming or other supervised time around water and you want a vest with features for handling and visibility as well as buoyancy. The handle is a useful detail for moments when you need a quick grip, and the leash ring can help keep your dog close between activities. For dog owners choosing a water-ready layer for outdoor outings, the Queenmore’s combination of high buoyancy, reflective bands and a rescue handle brings several practical details together in one jacket.
