QUBORT Dog and Cat Brush, Self-Cleaning Retractable Bristles, Grey

Some grooming routines call for a brush that is quick to clear between passes, others need a comfortable tool for regular coat care. This QUBORT brush is designed for dogs and cats with short or long hair. Curved bristles with massage particles help lift loose fur as you brush. Press the button to retract the bristles and remove collected hair.

Who it’s for

This brush suits pet owners looking for one grooming tool for cats or dogs, including pets with short or long coats. Its retractable-bristle design is especially practical during a regular brushing session: when fur gathers on the brush, press the button, slide the hair away and continue. That makes it easier to keep the brush ready for the next pass rather than stopping to pick fur out by hand.

The curved bristles are designed to work through the coat with a gentle brushing action. Use a light touch, particularly around sensitive areas, and let your pet get comfortable with the brush before starting. For example, after a relaxed moment at home, you can work through the coat in short, gentle passes and clear the brush when needed.

Why it’s worth it

Cleaning is built into the brushing routine. A button retracts the bristles so collected fur can be lifted away from the brush pad. This straightforward release mechanism is useful when you are grooming a pet that sheds and want to keep moving through the session without repeatedly pulling hair from individual bristles.

The handle has an ergonomic design and a non-slip grip, helping you hold the brush comfortably during regular grooming. Its bristles also feature massage particles, adding a soft-contact detail to the brushing surface. Buyers have highlighted the ease of removing fur from the brush and its simple operation, alongside positive comments about how it works for their pets. Those experiences can vary by coat and animal, but they point to the practical appeal of a brush that is easy to clear and use.

What matters most

• Type: Dog and cat grooming brush
• Bristles: Curved plastic bristles with massage particles
• Handle: Ergonomic ABS design with a non-slip grip
• Materials: ABS and stainless steel
• Colour: Grey

The brush combines coat care with a convenient clean-out step, rather than relying on a brush that must be cleared by hand as fur builds up. The retractable bristles make that difference most noticeable during a longer grooming routine or when brushing a shedding pet. Use smooth, gentle strokes and pause to remove the collected fur whenever the brush pad needs clearing.
