## Description

For a commercial hallway, stairwell or parking area, a clear exit sign helps direct people towards a safe route. The Qllite SRM uses an illuminated running-man pictogram and can be set up for single- or double-face viewing. Need the arrow to match a particular floor plan? The kit includes reversible left- and right-arrow inserts, as well as an insert without an arrow.

## Size & fit
The 20-gauge steel housing is designed for commercial settings, and the universal mounting pattern supports installation on a wall, ceiling or end. Standard knockouts and the J-box mounting pattern help accommodate different installation layouts. A damp-location rating makes the sign suitable for areas where some moisture may be present, such as certain indoor corridors or service spaces.

During installation, choose the face configuration and pictogram insert that suit the location and direction of travel. The unit is hardwired to AC power, after connecting it, allow the battery to charge for 24 hours before using the test button or simulating a power outage. This gives the emergency backup time to charge before testing.

## Why it makes sense
Rather than choosing a single-face or double-face version in advance, this all-in-one kit includes two faceplates and a backplate, so it can be assembled for either arrangement. Its three pictogram inserts provide a practical way to indicate the intended direction without changing the sign itself. That flexibility is useful when fitting out a hallway, stairwell or other shared route where the best viewing direction depends on the layout.

The white LED source illuminates the sign face, while the built-in rechargeable NiCd battery provides a minimum of 120 minutes of emergency illumination during an AC power failure. With a universal 120–347 VAC input, the sign is suited to a range of commercial electrical systems. Its 20-gauge steel construction, damp-location rating and cUL listing make it a considered choice for commercial exit and emergency-lighting installations.

## Before you decide

**How do I choose the arrow direction?** Select the no-arrow, left-arrow or right-arrow pictogram insert during assembly to direct people towards the intended exit route.

**When can I test the battery backup?** After hardwiring the sign to AC power, allow 24 hours for the rechargeable battery to charge before using the test button or simulating a power outage.

## Is it worth it?
For a commercial space that needs a configurable exit sign with emergency illumination, the Qllite SRM brings the key decisions into one kit: viewing direction, arrow choice and mounting position. Its steel housing, broad AC input range and 120-minute battery backup support a practical installation for hallways, stairwells and other building routes where clear exit guidance matters.
