## Description

## Key specifications

Choose between AC power at home and two D batteries when you want to take the PRUNUS J-136 elsewhere. AM and FM tuning brings news, music and sports broadcasts to a compact portable radio. Its AUX and microphone inputs also give it a role beyond station listening.

For everyday listening, the built-in speaker keeps radio broadcasts simple: tune in and listen without setting up a separate sound system. When you want to play audio from another device, connect it through the AUX input. A wired microphone can be connected to use the radio as a voice amplifier, making it useful for announcements or speaking to a group. The microphone is not included.

## Compatibility

The AUX connection supports wired audio from compatible devices such as a smartphone, MP3 player, tablet or laptop. The microphone input lets you connect a wired microphone for voice amplification. These are direct wired connections, so the J-136 can serve as a radio, a speaker for another audio source or a simple aid for making your voice heard.

Power it from an AC outlet for listening at home, in an office or in another indoor space. For portable use, install two D batteries, this lets you bring the radio along for activities such as camping or a walk around the neighbourhood without relying on an outlet. An AC power cord is included, alongside the radio and user manual.

Compared with a radio intended only for listening to broadcasts, the J-136’s AUX and microphone inputs add practical ways to use its speaker. It is a straightforward choice when you want radio reception as well as wired playback or voice amplification in one portable unit.

## Who it’s for

The J-136 suits listeners who want AM/FM radio at home and the flexibility to carry it elsewhere on battery power. Its simple tuning control makes changing stations direct, while the portable design is handy for moving between rooms or bringing along on an outing. For a small gathering, a wired microphone can help project a spoken message, for personal music playback, connect a compatible device through AUX.

It can also suit households looking for a shared radio that offers more than broadcast listening. Use AC power for a regular indoor listening spot, then switch to two D batteries when you need to take it along. If you are choosing between a radio focused solely on stations and a portable radio with extra wired inputs, those AUX and microphone connections make the J-136 the more versatile fit for these uses.

## Final verdict

The PRUNUS J-136 brings AM/FM listening, two power options and useful wired inputs together in one portable radio. Choose it for convenient broadcasts at home or on the move, with the added option to connect an audio device or wired microphone when the situation calls for it.
