## Description

For hobbyists, machinists and mechanics who need to check dimensions across different parts, the Preciva digital caliper combines four measurement functions with a clear oversized display.

Its 0–6-inch/150 mm range and stated accuracy of 0.0005 in/0.01 mm support detailed measuring work. Switch between inches and millimetres with a button.

A rechargeable Type-C design and hardened stainless steel construction make it a practical tool to keep on a workbench. Which measurement tasks can it handle? It measures inside, outside, depth and step dimensions.

## Best use cases
Use the caliper when a project calls for more than a simple outside measurement. Its jaws measure external dimensions, while the inside-measuring surfaces help check openings. The depth function is useful for checking recesses, and the step function measures the difference between levels. Having these functions in one tool makes it easier to move between common measuring tasks without changing instruments.

For workshop jobs, hobby projects or mechanical work, the large digital readout makes measurement results easier to see at a glance. The 0–6-inch/150 mm range covers the stated measuring span, while the 0.0005 in/0.01 mm accuracy gives a clear reference for close measurements. Choose inches or millimetres to suit the units used in your plans or workspace.

## Pros
The oversized LCD is designed to make readings easier to view than a small caliper display, a useful detail when taking measurements repeatedly during a task. A single button switches between measurement modes, keeping unit changes straightforward as you work with different plans or parts.

The built-in 3.7 V, 90 mAh battery charges through a Type-C port, so the caliper can be recharged rather than relying on routine battery replacement. The manufacturer rates a 50-minute charge for up to six months of occasional use or three months of daily shop use. Hardened stainless steel construction is described as rust-proof, making the tool suited to a busy desktop or workshop setting.

## Worth noting
The package includes the digital caliper, a protective storage box, a Type-C charging cable and a user manual. Store the caliper in its case between jobs to keep the measuring tool together and ready for the next project. Its 6-inch/150 mm range, digital readout and four measurement functions offer a different approach from a basic tool that only checks outside dimensions.

## Questions before you buy
**What measurements can this caliper take?** It measures inside, outside, depth and step dimensions, covering several common workshop and hobby measuring tasks with one tool.

**Can I switch between inches and millimetres?** Yes. A single button switches the measurement units between inches and millimetres.

**How do I recharge it?** The caliper has a built-in rechargeable battery and a Type-C charging port. A Type-C charging cable is included.

## Final verdict
For anyone measuring parts, openings, recesses or stepped surfaces, this Preciva caliper brings those tasks together in one digital tool. Its oversized display helps make readings easier to view, while the rechargeable Type-C battery and included storage case suit regular use at a hobby bench, in a machine shop or during mechanical work.
