POPFLY Kitchen Sink 25-inch

Key points

A sink replacement can become a bigger job when the countertop or plumbing needs changing too. This POPFLY topmount, or overmount, kitchen sink is designed to sit with its rim on the counter, and the listing says it can be installed or removed without damaging the countertop or relocating plumbing. That makes it worth considering when you want a single-bowl replacement without switching to an undermount setup.

The bowl is 9 inches deep, with exterior dimensions of 25 inches by 18 inches and interior dimensions of 23 inches by 14 inches. It is made from 18-gauge T-304 stainless steel, described as having an 18/10 chromium/nickel composition, with a black King Kong finish. Sound-absorbing pads cover over 80% of the sink, and a non-toxic undercoating is intended to help reduce noise and condensation.

How it looks

The black finish gives this stainless-steel sink a darker look than a conventional silver basin, so it may suit a kitchen where the sink is meant to contrast with the counter or cabinetry. Its single bowl leaves one uninterrupted washing area rather than dividing the basin, which is useful when rinsing larger dishes or handling a pile of cookware. The rounded R10 corners and sloped base with an X-shaped drainage channel are intended to make cleaning and water flow easier.

Keep in mind that the 3.5-inch drain opening is described as fitting a standard garbage disposal unit in the US. That wording does not confirm compatibility with every disposal or plumbing arrangement in Canada, so the drain connection deserves particular attention before choosing it. The sink also comes pre-drilled with two holes: one for a faucet and one for a soap dispenser.

Tips for day-to-day use

A deep, single bowl can be handy when you are rinsing a roasting pan or stacking dishes before washing, there is no divider to work around. The drainage grooves are designed to guide water towards the outlet, while the rounded corners should be less awkward to wipe than sharp internal corners. The sound-dampening layer may also help take the edge off noise from running water or dishes, though the listing does not quantify how much noise it reduces.

Before settling on this model, compare the interior bowl dimensions with the largest cookware you regularly wash, not just the exterior size. Also account for the pre-drilled faucet hole of 1.3/8 inches and soap-dispenser hole of 1.1 inches when planning the fittings. Its topmount rim works with countertop materials ranging from solid surface to laminate, according to the listing, but the actual cut-out and installation still need to suit your counter.

Could suit you if you want a black, topmount single-bowl sink with a deep basin and built-in noise-dampening features. It may not be the best choice if you need a divided bowl, a different mounting style, or confirmed compatibility with a specific disposal that the listing does not identify.

Before you decide

Does it have one bowl or two? It is a single-bowl sink, with an interior measuring 23 inches by 14 inches and a depth of 9 inches.

Are faucet and soap-dispenser holes included? Yes. The sink is described as pre-drilled with two holes, one for each fitting, their listed sizes are 1.3/8 inches and 1.1 inches respectively.

Can it be installed as an undermount sink? The listing describes a topmount design with an exposed rim resting on the countertop, not an undermount installation.

Is it worth it?

This sink makes most sense if you specifically want a black topmount design, a single deep bowl, and a replacement that does not call for relocating plumbing. The stated steel gauge, sound-absorbing pads, drainage grooves, and rounded corners give it practical features beyond its finish. The main reason to pause is fit: the countertop cut-out, faucet and dispenser fittings, and drain connection all need to match your setup. If those details line up, it offers a straightforward alternative to a divided or undermount basin, if you need confirmed Canadian disposal compatibility or a different configuration, the available information leaves that unanswered.
