Pitooler PG-245XL and CL-246XL Ink Cartridges, Black and Colour Combo
Product description
A black-and-colour combo pack keeps two essential cartridge types together for text documents and colour printing. It includes one PG-245XL black cartridge and one CL-246XL colour cartridge. Need replacements for both in one set? This pack is designed for a range of compatible Canon Pixma printers.
What to know
The set pairs a high-yield black cartridge with a colour cartridge, giving you the essentials for everyday printing at home. The black cartridge has a stated yield of 550 pages, while the colour cartridge has a stated yield of 450 pages, based on 5% coverage. Actual page use will vary with what you print, but these figures help you compare the cartridges with standard-yield options when choosing replacements.
A smart chip is included, and the product information highlights crisp text and colour reproduction. That makes the set suited to common jobs such as printing written assignments, forms and colourful pages without buying the black and colour cartridges separately. It is compatible with specified Canon Pixma models, including the TS3420, TS3400, TS3120, MX492 and TR4520, as well as other models in the supported ranges.
Usage tips
Before ordering, match your printer to the compatible model list. Supported printers include selected models from the Pixma IP, MG, MX, TR and TS families, such as the IP2820, MG2420, MG2500, MG2520, MG2522, MG2524, MG2525 and MG2920, MX490 and MX492, TR4500 and TR4520, and TS202, TS302, TS3120, TS3300 and TS3420. The listed compatibility also covers additional model variations within those families.
This is a replacement set for printers that use Canon 245 and 246 cartridge types, with the included cartridges identified as PG-245XL black and CL-246XL colour. Choosing a combined set makes sense when both cartridge colours are due for replacement, if you only need one colour, a single-cartridge purchase is a different way to shop.
Tips for day-to-day use
For installation, remove the protective cover and nozzle sealing tape before placing each cartridge in the printer. Keeping the cartridges identified by colour during setup helps you install the black and colour options in their intended positions. Once installed in a compatible printer, the set is ready for routine documents and colour pages, from household paperwork to school or home-office printing.
The stated yields are based on 5% page coverage, so pages with larger areas of text, graphics or colour may use ink differently. If your printing alternates between mostly black text and occasional colour, having both cartridge types in the pack gives you replacements for both kinds of jobs.
