## Description

For Canon PIXMA owners who need black ink for everyday printing, the PFKink 245 XL 2Black two-pack offers a practical replacement for compatible printers. Its remanufactured PG-245XL cartridges are designed for a range of PIXMA models, including the TR4520, TR4527, TS3420, MG2522, MX492 and TS3320, helping you keep routine printing supplied with black ink.

The two cartridges provide up to 1,000 pages in total, based on 5% page coverage. Smudge-resistant ink is suited to documents and other regular black-and-white print jobs.

## Key takeaways

This pack contains two remanufactured black ink cartridges that replace Canon PG-245XL cartridges. The stated yield is up to 500 pages per cartridge, or up to 1,000 pages for the pair, with actual coverage tied to the 5% basis used for the yield figure. That gives you a clear reference when choosing between a single replacement and a two-cartridge supply for ongoing printing.

Compatibility covers a broad selection of Canon PIXMA inkjet printers. Listed models include the MG2420, MG2520, MG2522, MG2920, MG3020, MX490, MX492, TR4500, TR4520, TR4522, TR4527, TS202, TS302, TS3120, TS3122, TS3320, TS3322, TS3400, TS3420 and TS3425. Match your printer’s model number to the compatibility list before ordering, the cartridge is intended for supported PIXMA models rather than every Canon printer.

## Everyday use

For home or small-office printing, a two-pack can be useful when black ink is needed regularly for forms, schoolwork, correspondence or other text-focused tasks. The smudge-resistant feature is relevant when handling printed pages soon after printing, while the black-only format keeps this purchase focused on monochrome output. Customers have also highlighted compatibility with Canon TS3120 printers, alongside positive comments about value, these are buyer impressions, not a substitute for checking your specific printer model.

Compared with choosing an original-brand cartridge, this is a remanufactured replacement approach for people looking for compatible PG-245XL black ink. It makes sense if you want two cartridges in one purchase and your printer appears among the supported PIXMA models.

## Getting the most from it

Before installing, identify the exact model printed on your Canon PIXMA printer and confirm it against the supported list. Follow the printer’s usual cartridge replacement process, removing the old cartridge and seating the replacement securely. Keeping the second cartridge available gives you another black cartridge to use when the first runs out, so the pack can support continued document printing without a separate single-cartridge purchase.

The stated page yield is based on 5% coverage, so pages with heavier ink coverage may use more ink than the reference suggests. For typical text documents, the yield figure offers a useful planning guide rather than a guaranteed count for every print job.

## Is it worth it?

The PFKink 245 XL 2Black pack is a straightforward choice for owners of listed Canon PIXMA printers who want a remanufactured black-ink replacement in a two-cartridge format. Its main practical benefits are the combined stated yield of up to 1,000 pages, smudge-resistant ink and compatibility across numerous PIXMA models. If those points match your printer and regular black-printing needs, this pack provides a ready supply for everyday documents.
