How to use it

Lay a pad flat in the area where you want to provide a protected surface, such as inside a crate or on the floor near your pet’s usual resting place. Its rubber backing is designed to help keep it in position on the floor, while the waterproof layer helps stop liquid from passing through to the surface underneath. The pads can also be used as a cover for a bed or sofa, or placed in a playpen, kennel, whelping box or guinea pig cage.

When a pad needs cleaning, machine wash it and let it air dry before putting it back into use. Having two pads in the set gives you another washable surface available while you rotate them through regular care. The included stainless steel comb is an extra grooming item for dogs or cats.

Everyday use

These pads suit routines where a disposable training pad would otherwise be placed on the floor, but a washable surface is preferable for repeated use. Use one in a puppy’s crate during house training, under a pet’s resting area, or on furniture where leakage protection is useful. The large format also offers coverage for a playpen or whelping area, and the foldable design makes it practical to move between locations around the home or use in a vehicle.

The absorbent surface is intended to take in urine, while the waterproof backing helps protect carpet, wood flooring and other surfaces below. The non-slip underside can help the pad stay put as a pet steps on or settles onto it. Buyers frequently appreciate the easy washing, reusable design, roomy size and grip, and some highlight using it for whelping or as a floor protector. These are buyer impressions, for care, machine wash and air dry as directed.

Compared with disposable pads, this set offers a washable option for households that want to reuse a protective surface. Its multiple-use format is particularly helpful when the same pet needs coverage in different parts of the home, or when a pad is also useful on a bed, sofa or in a crate.
