At a glance

The D06-096V04WT combines a metal and plastic construction with pressure-mounted installation. It is designed for dogs and can also be used to separate areas such as a hallway or patio. The gate has a 46 cm entrance, so people can walk through without removing the barrier. Its white finish offers a simple look for indoor spaces.

Buyers describe the gate as sturdy and practical, with positive feedback about its functionality. Those comments reflect individual experiences rather than a guarantee, but they speak to the appeal of a barrier that can help manage access around the home.

How it fits

Adjust the gate to openings between 29.1 and 39.4 inches (74–100 cm), making it useful for a doorway or stairway within that range. Pressure mounting lets the frame secure against the sides of the opening, installation involves tightening both sides until the gap is 2–3 mm. The product is supplied with adjusting screws, round double-sided tape, screws and a manual.

For a household routine, it can keep a dog in a designated area while leaving a clear passage for people. Its adjustable width makes it a practical alternative to a fixed-width barrier when the opening size is the main consideration. Measure the opening where the gate will sit, then set the width to match before securing it.

Getting the most from it

The door swings in both directions, so you can move through from either side. A top latch opens with one hand: slide both ends at the same time, then lift. Two rotatable locks at the bottom add to the top lock. This arrangement helps make routine passage straightforward while keeping the gate secured between trips through the doorway.

The door is described as closing automatically when opened between 30° and 90°. That can help keep the barrier in place after someone passes through. During installation, follow the supplied manual and tighten both sides evenly so the pressure-mounted frame sits securely in the opening. It’s a good fit if you want an adjustable indoor boundary with a walk-through door for daily movement around the home.
