## Compatibility & requirements
The heater is designed for indoor use and covered outdoor spaces such as patios, gazebos and balconies. For outdoor installation, choose a covered location to help protect it from the weather. It uses 120 volts and is intended for ceiling mounting, so plan for an overhead installation that suits the space. Follow the installation instructions and maintain the required clearance during use.

The radiant heating approach is useful when you want warmth directed towards people and nearby surfaces rather than air circulated around a room. A fan heater takes the air-moving approach, this model is a practical fit for seating and dining areas where direct warmth is the priority.

## Practical tips
Position the heater above the area where warmth is most useful, such as a patio table or a workshop spot where you spend time standing. The overhead mounting keeps the floor open for chairs, tools and everyday movement, particularly in compact areas. Use the 1000W setting for a lower heat level or switch to 1500W when you want the higher setting. The remote lets you make that adjustment from your seat or work area without reaching up to the unit.

For a covered outdoor gathering, the carbon infrared element provides warmth without a fan blowing air across the space. Indoors, the same direct-heating style can suit a home office, living room or garage. IP24 protection is designed to guard against water splashes, making the covered setting an important part of outdoor placement.

## Before you decide
**Can it be used outdoors?** Yes. It is suitable for covered outdoor areas, including patios, gazebos and balconies. Install it in a covered location to help protect the heater.

**What heat settings does it have?** Choose between 1000W and 1500W. The included remote control lets you adjust the setting from a distance.

**How does carbon infrared heating work compared with a fan heater?** It provides direct radiant warmth to people and nearby surfaces without blowing air. A fan heater instead circulates warm air, so the two approaches suit different comfort preferences.

## Buying verdict
The pasapair TSH-RH2 is well suited to spaces where floor area matters and warmth is most useful overhead, from a covered patio dining spot to an indoor garage or home office. Its ceiling-mounted design, two heat settings and remote control bring targeted comfort without taking up space around the seating or work area.
