## Description

If you want evenly portioned cookies without measuring each one by hand, the OXO Good Grips Large Cookie Scoop makes dough portions simple and repeatable. Its squeeze-release action helps move dough from scoop to baking sheet, while the soft grip absorbs pressure as you work.

Each scoop holds 3 tbsp. and yields a cookie about 3 1/2 inches in diameter, giving you a practical guide for consistent portions across a batch.

The scoop’s soft grip is designed to absorb pressure during squeezing, and the release mechanism helps drop dough neatly where you need it. The stainless steel scoop is designed to release dough easily, so portioning can feel more straightforward as you move through a tray. Consistent portions also help cookies bake more evenly, making this a useful tool when you want a batch with a uniform look and size.

## Tips for day-to-day use
Use the scoop to portion dough directly onto a baking sheet, squeezing the handle to release each measure. Its 3 tbsp. capacity is suited to larger cookies, and the stated yield gives you a helpful size reference when planning a batch. For baking with children, scooping also offers a simple way to portion dough while keeping little fingers out of it. The same portioning approach can be useful when preparing muffin batter or pancakes, as well as cookie dough.

Buyer feedback often highlights how well the scoop portions dough and helps produce uniform cookies. Some also appreciate using it for other baking tasks. Opinions are more mixed on durability and value, so those comments are best treated as individual experiences rather than a promise of how every scoop will perform.

## Who it’s for
This large scoop suits home bakers who value consistent portions and a straightforward squeeze-and-release motion. It’s especially useful when you’re preparing a tray of larger cookies and would rather portion each one with the same measure than estimate by eye. The soft grip and easy-release design keep the task focused on portioning, while dishwasher-safe care makes cleanup practical after baking.

## When it makes sense
Worth considering if your priority is repeatable, larger cookie portions in a dedicated scoop. Compared with portioning dough by hand or estimating each mound, the 3 tbsp. measure offers a consistent reference and helps create cookies of a similar size for more even baking. Choose it for cookie batches, or keep it handy for portioning muffin batter and pancakes when a measured scoop is useful. Its black finish, stainless steel construction and large, Size 20 portioner format make the intended size easy to identify among baking tools.
