Norton 360 2026 Antivirus Software for 5 Devices with VPN and AI Scam Protection

For a household using a mix of computers and phones, Norton 360 2026 combines antivirus protection with a VPN, scam protection and parental controls in one downloadable package. It is listed for five devices across PCs, Macs, iOS and Android, so it may suit someone who wants a broader set of tools than a basic antivirus subscription.

The package also includes 75 GB of secure cloud backup for PC files. That makes it relevant for protecting everyday documents and photos, while the VPN addresses a different need: keeping browsing more private across supported devices, including Smart TVs.

How it fits

This is aimed at people who want to manage several kinds of online protection together. For example, a family could use the device coverage across computers and phones, set parental controls for children using a PC or smartphone, and use the VPN when browsing. The AI scam assistant is intended to help identify suspicious messages and emails, alongside protection against phishing, malware, ransomware and viruses.

Compared with a simpler antivirus tool focused mainly on malware, Norton 360 adds privacy, scam assistance and PC backup. That broader bundle is useful when those features matter, someone looking only for antivirus may not need the additional tools. The 75 GB backup is specifically described for PC, so it should not be treated as cloud storage for every listed device.

Pros

The main advantage is the range of functions in one download: real-time threat protection, VPN, scam and phishing assistance, parental controls, and PC cloud backup. The listing says installation can be completed in minutes, though customers describe mixed setup experiences. Manufacturer information also mentions Dark Web Monitoring, which searches for personal information and sends a notification if it is found.

Buyer feedback is mixed rather than uniformly positive. Some customers praise the protection for typical home computing, while others report installation or performance problems. A recurring concern is that some buyers saw the software presented as Norton AV Plus for one device, despite this listing describing coverage for five. That makes it sensible to confirm the activation details before relying on multi-device coverage. Some also report that it did not extend an existing subscription.

A solid pick if you want antivirus alongside a VPN, scam tools and parental controls, rather than a single-purpose security app. Better avoided if you need to extend an existing subscription: some buyers report that this download did not work for that purpose.

Does the cloud backup cover phones and Macs? The stated 75 GB cloud backup is for PC. The listing does not specify backup coverage for the other device types.

Is a VPN included? Yes. The product description includes a VPN for privacy across devices, including Smart TVs. It does not give specific server counts or connection limits.

Final verdict

Choose Norton 360 2026 when you want several security and privacy tools under one package and can use the PC backup and parental controls. Its broader feature set is less compelling if you need only antivirus, and the reported activation mismatch deserves attention if five-device coverage is essential. Within these limits, the feature mix may suit a household looking to protect computers and phones without choosing separate tools for every task.
