## Description

Mark a board, then reach into a narrow opening to add a precise layout line. The Nicpro MG556 brings a carpenter pencil, detachable finger grip and extended marking tip into one set. Need to move between general drafting and a tight spot? Its convertible design helps keep both tasks within reach.

## Getting the most from it
Use the pencil for carpentry, drafting and marking out on wood, metal, plastic or paper. The 45 mm extended tip is designed to reach into small holes and other confined areas, where a standard pencil may not reach as easily. For broader layout work, attach the ergonomic grip, detach it when the extended tip is more useful. This gives you two practical ways to handle marks without switching between separate tools.

The 2.8 mm lead is thicker than a typical fine pencil lead and is intended for construction marking. The set includes red, black and yellow refills, so you can choose a colour that suits the surface or makes a line easier to distinguish. A replaceable sharpener is built into the top of the pencil, keeping sharpening part of the tool rather than a separate step at the bench. The plastic storage box keeps the set and its refills together between jobs.

## Pros
Rather than carrying a conventional carpenter pencil alongside a separate deep-hole marker, this set combines an extended tip with a removable grip in one tool. That arrangement is useful when a job moves from marking an open board to locating a mark near a hole or recessed area. The included 12-piece supply of 2.8 mm refills offers replacements on hand, while the three lead colours provide options for different marking needs.

Customer feedback highlights the solid feel, practical use for woodworking and carpentry, and the supply of replacement leads. Those impressions complement the set’s specific features: a detachable grip, built-in sharpener and extended marker tip.
