## Description

Three speed settings let the Neareen 9296-IW cordless impact wrench adapt to different fastening tasks, from lighter automotive work to stubborn bolts. Its brushless motor and constant torque technology are designed to maintain power delivery, while the 1/2-inch hog ring anvil makes socket changes quick and tool-free.

With a stated breakaway torque of up to 900 ft-lbs (1200 N.m), it’s built for demanding jobs such as removing lug nuts or working on machinery. The tool is compatible with DW 20V MAX lithium-ion batteries, making it a practical addition for users who already have a compatible battery system.

## Who it’s for
This wrench suits home mechanics, automotive repair work and hands-on projects involving heavy-duty fasteners. Use the lower speed setting for more controlled work on smaller fasteners, then select a higher setting for tougher bolts. The built-in LED light helps illuminate dim work areas, including under a vehicle, so the fastener and socket are easier to see while you work.

If you already use compatible DW 20V MAX batteries, the tool-only format lets you add an impact wrench to your setup without purchasing another battery and charger. It’s a different approach from choosing a complete kit: this format is centred on the wrench itself and makes most sense when your battery platform is already in place.

## What stands out
The combination of three speed settings and a brushless motor gives this wrench flexibility across different repair tasks. A slower setting can help when working with smaller or more delicate fasteners, higher settings are available for heavier-duty bolts. Constant torque technology is intended to sustain power delivery, including when used with smaller 2.0Ah batteries.

The hog ring anvil is designed for quick socket changes without a separate tool, which is useful when moving between fastener sizes during a repair. For example, while working around a vehicle, you can switch sockets as the job changes from wheel hardware to other accessible bolts. The LED work light supports visibility in shadowed spaces, and the contoured, anti-slip grip is designed to make the wrench easier to hold through longer tasks. A belt clip keeps it close at hand when moving between work areas.

## Should you buy it?
You’ll like it if you need a cordless wrench for automotive or machinery fasteners and want three speed settings, a brushless motor and a 1/2-inch drive in one tool. Its stated breakaway torque and constant torque technology are geared towards demanding loosening work, while the LED light and quick-change hog ring add practical value during repairs. For anyone with a compatible DW 20V MAX battery, the Neareen 9296-IW offers a focused way to add impact-wrench capability to an existing setup.
