## Description

Dawn cleaning power helps this water-activated foaming sponge tackle greasy kitchen messes with a simple wipe. The Magic Eraser combines foaming cleaner with micro-scrubbers to lift grime from everyday cooking areas. Wet the sponge, squeeze to activate the foam, and clean without adding a separate spray. The five-count pack keeps extra erasers on hand for regular kitchen cleanups.

## Practical tips

Start by wetting the eraser and squeezing it to work up the foam, then wipe the area you want to clean. This straightforward routine suits quick jobs such as food splatters on the microwave or grease around the stovetop. For baked-on residue and heavier buildup, use the sponge directly on the mess and rinse it as needed during cleaning. Each eraser can be rinsed and reused for multiple cleaning sessions, making it useful for more than one pass through the kitchen.

The foaming format is a practical alternative to reaching for a separate all-purpose spray when you want a focused tool for greasy messes. It can also be used around the home on bathroom soap scum, so the pack has a role beyond the kitchen. Follow the surface’s care instructions when cleaning, and work with the damp sponge rather than using it dry.

## Strengths

The key difference is the combination of Magic Eraser cleaning with Dawn cleaning power. Its micro-scrubbers and fresh-scented foam are designed to cut through grease and grime, helping with the messes that collect on stovetops, oven glass, microwaves, sinks, backsplashes, countertops, cabinets, and refrigerators. That makes it a useful choice for routine wipe-downs as well as targeted attention to food splashes and greasy buildup.

Because water activates the foam, the cleaning process stays simple: wet, squeeze, and wipe. There is no need for a separate spray cleaner for the described use. The Clean scent adds a fresh-smelling finish while you work, and the five erasers provide a ready supply for repeated kitchen and bathroom cleaning tasks.

## What to know

This is a hand-use sponge cleaner in a five-count pack, made for cleaning with water. Its focus is grease and grime, with bathroom soap scum among the additional messes it is designed to tackle. For a kitchen cleanup, use it on areas such as a sink or microwave after cooking, for more concentrated residue, apply it directly to the affected spot and rinse the eraser between passes. It offers a compact, hands-on approach compared with a spray-and-wipe cleaner, particularly when you want to work on a specific patch of buildup.

## What to clarify

**How do you activate the foaming cleaner?** Wet the eraser and squeeze it to activate the foam, then use it to wipe the mess.

**Can it be used on kitchen surfaces beyond a stovetop?** It is described for use on stovetops, oven glass, microwaves, sinks, backsplashes, countertops, cabinets, and refrigerators.

**Can you reuse an eraser?** Yes. Rinse it between cleaning sessions, each eraser can be rinsed and reused for multiple sessions.

## Final verdict

Choose the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Foaming Sponge when you want a water-activated, hands-on cleaner for kitchen grease and everyday grime, with Dawn cleaning power in the sponge itself. Its targeted foaming format, broad range of described kitchen uses, and five-count pack make it a practical fit for regular wipe-downs and focused cleanup jobs.
