## Description

For a workout, a walk or a day of calls, the Monster AC221 open-ear earbuds use a clip-on fit that sits around the ear rather than pressing into it. Their lightweight design weighs 4 grams, making them a practical choice for listening while you work, exercise or relax. Bluetooth 6.0 wireless connectivity and touch controls keep everyday listening straightforward, while clear-call audio supports conversations on a compatible cell phone.

Choose this open-ear style when a light clip-on fit is more important than the in-ear feel of conventional earbuds. With up to 8 hours of playback on a single charge and an additional 30 hours from the charging case, they’re suited to routines that span workouts, errands and time at your desk.

## Compatibility & requirements
These earbuds connect wirelessly through Bluetooth and are listed as compatible with cell phones. Charging uses a USB Type-C connection. Their open-ear clip-on format offers a different fit from earbuds that sit inside the ear, while the touch controls provide a simple way to manage listening. For a day that alternates between music and calls, the same pair can move from a workout to a phone conversation without changing the basic setup.

The IPX6 rating suits active use where sweat or rain may be part of the day. That makes the AC221 a useful format for runs, exercise sessions and outdoor listening. Keep the charging case available to recharge the earbuds and access the additional playback time it provides.

## How to use it
Position each earbud in its clip-on fit, then connect it to a Bluetooth-enabled cell phone. Use the touch controls during listening, and charge through the USB Type-C interface when needed. On a busy day, the earbuds can accompany a morning workout, remain ready for calls and provide audio during quieter tasks later on. Their lightweight open-ear design is also suited to longer listening periods when you prefer not to wear earbuds that press into the ear.

For regular workouts or commutes, return the earbuds to the charging case between listening sessions so its additional playback capacity is available. The combination of a clip-on fit, wireless connection and clear-call audio is useful when you want one pair for both entertainment and phone conversations, rather than a separate set of headphones for each activity.

## Buying verdict
The Monster AC221 brings together an open-ear clip-on fit, Bluetooth 6.0, touch controls and IPX6 water resistance in a compact everyday listening option. Its stated playback time—up to 8 hours per charge, with an additional 30 hours from the case—supports use across workouts, calls and downtime. It makes sense if you want lightweight wireless earbuds for active routines and daily phone use, with the comfort-focused feel of an open-ear design.
