## Description

At 6.7 inches, these MISISIPI spoons offer a handy size for meals, desserts and event catering. Made from plant-based PLA, they’re designed for composting at commercial facilities. The 200-count set gives hosts and food-service teams a coordinated option for gatherings of different sizes.

## Where it shines
Use these spoons for BBQs, picnics, weddings, parties, camping, cafeterias and catered events. Their sturdy, heavyweight design is intended to handle foods such as pasta, meat, peanut butter, jelly and jam, while the spoon shape works for a range of hot and cold dishes. A matte finish and ivory-white colour bring a simple, consistent look to buffet tables, lunch areas and event settings.

For a large gathering, having 200 matching spoons on hand helps make table settings and food service easier to organize. The plant-based PLA material also offers a compostable alternative to conventional disposable cutlery, with disposal suited to commercial composting facilities. The spoons are described as heat-resistant up to 212 °F, making them suitable for enjoying both hot and cold foods within that stated range.

## Worth noting
Each set contains 200 spoons. The material is plant-based PLA, and the product is described as BPI-certified and compostable in commercial facilities. That composting detail is useful when planning cleanup: check that the facility handling your waste accepts compostable PLA items. Their heavyweight construction makes them a practical choice when a lighter disposable spoon may not suit the menu or the pace of service.

Buyers’ comments highlight the spoons’ sturdy feel and overall quality, with some also appreciating the value of the set. These are customer impressions rather than a substitute for the product’s stated material and care details, but they point to the practical appeal of a disposable spoon designed for more substantial meals.

## How to look after it
The spoons are listed as dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe, and they can be cleaned and reused if desired. For a gathering, you can set them out with the meal and collect used spoons for cleaning where reuse suits your plans. If choosing composting instead, route them to a commercial facility that accepts PLA, the compostable material is intended for that setting rather than assumed to break down in every disposal environment.

## Final verdict
MISISIPI SPOONS-200 brings together a 200-piece supply, a 6.7-inch format and heavyweight, plant-based PLA construction. It’s a useful fit for hosts, cafeterias and event organizers who want sturdy disposable spoons for hot or cold foods, with the option to clean and reuse them or send them to an accepting commercial composting facility.
