## Description

Plant-based PLA cutlery makes serving at gatherings straightforward while offering a compostable option for the table. The MISISIPI Cutlery Set-150 brings forks, spoons and knives together in one coordinated set.

Its ivory white finish and matte surface suit everything from a backyard barbecue to a wedding reception. With 50 of each utensil, it’s easy to set out a consistent place setting for guests.

The heavyweight design is made for a range of hot and cold foods, with heat resistance up to 212 °F. Use it for a picnic lunch, catered event or everyday meal when convenient disposable cutlery is useful.

## Key points

The set contains 50 forks, 50 spoons and 50 knives, for 150 pieces in total. Forks and knives are 7 inches long, and spoons are 6.7 inches long. This mix supports a full meal without needing to assemble utensils from separate packs, whether you’re setting out food at a family barbecue or preparing a school or event table.

Made from plant-based PLA (polylactic acid), the utensils are described as compostable in commercial facilities and are BPI-certified. That makes them a practical choice for gatherings where compostable cutlery is part of the serving plan, check that a suitable commercial composting facility accepts them. The heavyweight construction is intended to offer a sturdier feel than ordinary disposable cutlery, while the ivory white colour keeps the table setting simple and coordinated.

Customers often highlight the utensils’ sturdiness, texture and size, including the spoon size for soup. Their feedback also appreciates the compostable material. These are individual impressions, but they point to the set’s appeal for hosts looking for convenient cutlery with a more substantial feel.

## Care & maintenance

The product is listed as dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe, and the utensils can be washed and reused if desired. This can be handy when you want disposable-style convenience for a meal but prefer to clean and use the cutlery again. Follow the listed care instructions, and keep the stated heat resistance of up to 212 °F in mind when serving hot food.

Compostability applies to commercial facilities. For disposal, use a commercial composting programme that accepts PLA cutlery rather than assuming it belongs in a home compost bin. This helps match the product’s intended end-of-life route to the facilities available where you are.

## Tips for day-to-day use

For a picnic, camping trip or barbecue, set out the forks, spoons and knives together so guests can choose what they need. At a banquet, party or catered gathering, the matching ivory white utensils help create a consistent look across the table. The spoons suit soup and other spoon-served foods, while the fork-and-knife combination covers meals that need both utensils.

If you’re choosing between a mixed cutlery set and buying each utensil separately, this pack provides all three types in equal quantities. That makes planning simpler for events where guests may need a complete place setting. You’ll like it if you want plant-based PLA cutlery in a heavyweight, coordinated 150-piece set for meals at home or larger gatherings.
