## Description

Measuring 20.5" x 13.1", the MERRYBOX RBD-001 is a roll-up dish drying rack made from silicone-wrapped carbon steel. Set it across the sink to let rinsed dishes and ingredients drain directly into the basin, keeping water off the surrounding counter.

Its slim, foldable format also gives you a flexible drying surface when you need one, then lets you roll it up after use. The grey finish and silicone coating make it a practical addition to everyday kitchen routines.

## Best use cases

Use the rack over the sink for items that need to air-dry after washing, such as a rinsed frying pan or dishes. It can also serve as a draining surface for rinsed vegetables, so water runs into the sink rather than pooling on the counter. For a small kitchen task, place it over the counter as a drying area, its listed mounting type covers both over-sink and over-counter use.

This roll-up style suits kitchens where a fixed drying rack would take up useful counter space. When the drying task is done, its foldable design makes it easy to clear the work area. Buyers also describe it as a practical kitchen addition and mention using it to drain pans and vegetables.

## Benefits

The silicone-wrapped steel construction combines a firm drying surface with a coated finish, while the slip-resistant feature helps the rack stay positioned during use. Its heat-resistant and rust-resistant features support its role in a kitchen where it may be used around wet dishes and everyday cooking tasks. Follow the product’s intended use and place it securely across the sink or counter before setting items on it.

The roll-up format is the key difference from a permanent dish rack: it provides a surface when you need to drain or dry something, without leaving a fixed rack occupying the counter. Buyers highlight its stability and practicality, including using it for a rinsed frying pan. Those comments reflect their experiences, while the stated maximum weight capacity is 36.29 kg.

## Questions before you buy

**Can the rack be used over a counter as well as a sink?** Yes. Its listed mounting type is over sink and over counter, giving you the choice of a draining position above the basin or a drying surface on the counter.

**What are its dimensions?** It measures 33D x 52.1W x 0.8H centimetres, and its listed size is 20.5" x 13.1". Compare those measurements with the area where you plan to place it.

**How much weight can it hold?** The listed maximum weight capacity is 36.29 kg. Distribute items securely across the rack when using it for drying.

## When it makes sense

It’s a good fit if you want a temporary drying surface that works over the sink or counter and can be rolled up when the task is finished. Choose it for everyday draining of dishes, a rinsed pan or vegetables, with a silicone-wrapped steel design and a 20.5" x 13.1" format that gives you a defined area to work with.
