## Practical tips
For leg exercise, place the pedal exerciser on the floor, sit in a chair and pedal at a comfortable pace. You can pedal in either direction to work different parts of your legs. Adjust your chair’s distance from the unit to find a comfortable position, particularly when using it beneath a desk. The manufacturer recommends using it on a floor with some friction rather than a very smooth surface, the included mat and non-slip foot covers help keep the unit in place and protect the floor.

For arm exercise, place the unit on a table and use the pedals by hand. The resistance bands provide an additional option for arm movements. Follow the instructions for the activity you’re doing, and adjust the pedal straps to suit your footwear, the manufacturer notes that users with larger feet or a high instep may prefer to pedal without the straps.

The LCD gives you a quick view of workout metrics, while the MERACH app offers free, target-based and timed training modes with live metrics. Buyers often praise the quiet, smooth operation and straightforward assembly. Feedback on stability varies, so using the mat on a suitable floor is a practical part of setting up your workout.

## What’s included
The package includes the pedal exerciser, two resistance bands, a non-slip floor mat and two AAA batteries. This gives you options for seated leg pedalling, table-based arm exercise and band work, with the mat ready to place beneath the unit.

## Final verdict
The MR-S04 suits people looking to add movement to a seated routine without setting up a full-size exercise bike. Its under-desk format supports low-key pedalling while working or relaxing, and the same unit can be repositioned for arm exercise at a table. Magnetic resistance, workout tracking through the LCD and app, and the included bands make it a flexible choice for home exercise, including gentle activity as part of a physical-therapy routine. The mat and floor-surface guidance help you set up with stability in mind.
