## Description

For a late-night feed or nappy change, the MediAcous ME-NL02 provides adjustable light without needing to switch on the main room lighting. Its egg-shaped design and touch controls make it easy to place beside a bed or nursery chair.

Long-press the top to adjust brightness smoothly, then choose white or warm light for the task at hand. A double tap sets the one-hour timer, helping the light switch off after a nighttime routine.

The rechargeable lamp comes with a stable charging base for use in a room. Its built-in handle, outdoor-ready design and SOS mode also make it useful for camping or other situations where a portable light is handy.

## Pros

The ME-NL02 combines several practical controls in one compact bedside light. Touch dimming lets you set a softer glow for settling or a brighter setting for reading and care tasks. Switching between white and warm light adds flexibility, including when you want a warmer tone for feeding.

A one-hour timer is useful when the light is part of a bedtime routine, while the charging base gives it a designated place to sit between uses. For outings, the rubber handle makes it easier to carry, and the IP65 waterproof design and SOS mode support use as a portable camping light. The ABS+PC egg-shaped body also gives it a child-friendly look for a bedroom or nursery.

Buyers often highlight the adjustable brightness, straightforward touch controls and usefulness during night feeds and wakings. Feedback on battery life and reliability is mixed, and some buyers raise concerns about durability, so experiences vary.

## Key takeaways

This is a rechargeable LED night light designed for both nursery routines and portable use. At its dimmest setting, the battery is stated to last up to 200 hours, at its brightest, up to 6 hours. The red indicator flashes when the battery is low, giving a visual prompt to recharge.

A stable charging base suits a regular spot at home, while direct Micro-USB power offers another way to run the lamp when away from the base. The timer, touch dimming and two colour-temperature options make it more adaptable than a basic fixed-brightness night light. Its stated uses include night lighting, decoration, reading and sleep support.

## Usage tips

Place the lamp on a tabletop near the spot where feeds, reading or bedtime settling take place. Long-press the top to dim or brighten it gradually, double-tap the logo to set the one-hour timer. To change between white and warm light, long-press the logo for half a second. These separate touch actions let you tailor the light and timer to a routine without navigating a menu.

For room use, return the lamp to its stable charging base. When taking it outside, use the built-in handle and the direct Micro-USB power option as needed. The SOS mode is intended to help show the location of you or your child in an emergency, keep the lamp accessible when using it for camping or hiking.

## Should you buy it?

It’s a good fit if you want a nursery light that can move between gentle nighttime illumination and brighter task lighting. The ME-NL02 brings touch-controlled dimming, warm and white light, a one-hour timer and a rechargeable design together, so it can serve bedside routines as well as portable lighting for camping. Choose it for that blend of adjustable nursery use and carry-friendly features, rather than for a fixed-brightness lamp with only one job.
