## Description

For 2-inch, 2.5-inch and 3-inch rimmed dials, the MEASUREMAN MD073 adds a visible memory pointer to a pressure gauge or thermometer. It tracks the maximum pressure or temperature reading. The clip-on design attaches directly to the dial rim. A gentle push resets the pointer to the current reading for another monitoring cycle.

## Spec sheet
- Name: MEASUREMAN MD073 Clip-On Memory Pointer
- Type: Memory pointer for pressure gauges and thermometers
- Compatibility: Standard 2-inch, 2.5-inch and 3-inch dials with a rim
- Quantity: 15 pointers
- Reference: MD073

## Usage tips
Clip the pointer onto the rim of a compatible gauge or thermometer to keep a visible reference to the peak reading. This provides a record on the dial itself, without manually marking the gauge. When you are ready to track a new cycle, gently push the pointer back to the current reading. The same straightforward reset makes it practical to reuse the pointer as readings change.

For example, when monitoring a system with a pressure gauge, the memory pointer can show how high the reading rose between checks. On a compatible thermometer, it can retain the maximum temperature reached. This helps make peak values easier to spot during routine monitoring, rather than relying on memory or repeatedly checking the dial. The pointer is designed for rimmed dials, so select a gauge or thermometer in one of the listed sizes with that rim for attachment.

## Who it’s for
The 15-pack suits teams or facilities that need memory pointers for several gauges, as well as anyone who wants spares ready for ongoing use. It works across both pressure gauges and thermometers, so one pack can support peak-reading checks in either application. The three listed dial sizes also make it useful when the instruments being monitored are not all the same size.

This is a practical fit for users who want a persistent, visible peak reference without writing directly on the dial. A manually marked gauge is another way to record a value, but the clip-on pointer offers a resettable reference: push it to the current reading and use it to track the next peak. That makes it especially useful for repeated monitoring where readings need to be recorded anew over time.

## Is it worth it?
The main benefit is simple: a pressure or temperature peak stays visible on the dial, giving you a quick reference between checks. The clip-on format avoids manual dial markings, and the gentle-push reset makes the pointer reusable for successive readings. With 15 pointers in the pack, it can serve multiple compatible instruments or provide ready-to-use spares.

Choose the MEASUREMAN MD073 when you want an at-a-glance maximum reading on a rimmed 2-inch, 2.5-inch or 3-inch pressure gauge or thermometer. Its combination of peak retention, quick reset and multi-pointer quantity is suited to repeat monitoring across compatible instruments.
