Meangood Toilet Paper Holder Stand, Metal

Technical details

Renters and anyone who would rather not drill into bathroom walls may appreciate this freestanding toilet paper holder. It combines a top dispenser with storage in the base, so spare rolls stay close to the toilet rather than being tucked away in a cupboard.

The listing describes space for one roll on the dispenser and up to three extra mega rolls in the cylindrical base. That makes it more of a storage-and-dispensing unit than a simple holder. It stands 18 inches tall, and the storage basket has a 4.2-inch inner diameter. A raised base of 0.9 inches is intended to keep rolls off the floor.

• Type: Freestanding toilet paper holder and roll storage
• Material: Metal
• Capacity: One active roll and up to three extra mega rolls
• Assembly: Tool-free push-and-click connection

Getting the most from it

No wall mounting is required, which gives you more flexibility when arranging a bathroom or when drilling is not practical. The holder is designed to keep the active roll within reach while storing spares below it. Compared with a basic wall-mounted dispenser, it uses floor space but offers room for backup rolls in the same unit.

The 4.2-inch inner diameter is useful information when choosing rolls: the product is described for mega rolls, but the listing does not give a maximum roll diameter or clarify which roll sizes fit. If your usual paper rolls are especially wide, that missing detail could affect how comfortably they sit in the storage basket.

Usage tips

Set the stand on a level spot beside the toilet, leaving enough room to lift rolls in and out of the base. The push-and-click assembly is described as tool-free, so setup should not require drilling or separate hardware. Make sure the sections are connected as intended before loading it, the listing gives no separate instructions for adjusting or securing the stand.

It is a good option if you want spare rolls close at hand and prefer a movable floor-standing format. It may not be the best option if you want to keep the floor completely clear or need a wall-mounted dispenser. The metal construction is described as having a finish intended to resist rust, but the product details do not explain care requirements or how it should be handled in a particularly damp bathroom.

Three specific questions

Does it need to be attached to the wall? No. The listing describes a freestanding design that requires no wall mounting, drilling, or hardware.

How many rolls can it hold? One roll goes on the top dispenser, with up to three extra mega rolls stored in the base.

What colour is the holder? There is conflicting information: the product name says white, while the description says it has a black finish. Check the colour shown for the specific listing before choosing it to match your bathroom.

Before you buy it

This stand makes sense when convenient spare-roll storage matters more than saving floor space. Its capacity and tool-free assembly are practical points for a bathroom where a wall-mounted holder is not wanted or suitable. The trade-off is its floor-standing footprint, and the inconsistent colour description leaves an important detail unresolved. Confirm the finish and consider whether your usual rolls will fit the stated basket dimensions before deciding.
