## Description

The 25mm large-diaphragm condenser microphone gives this MAONO bundle a clear starting point for voice recording, podcasting and live streaming. It comes with the MaonoCaster Lite audio interface, so you can shape your sound and monitor input through a headset as you record or broadcast.

Four programmable sound pads, built-in effects and tone controls put useful adjustments within reach during a session. The bundle also includes a mic cable, shock mount, boom arm, windscreen muff, charging cable and two 3.5mm TRRS audio cables.

## Where it shines

Use the AU-AM200-S6 for a podcast, YouTube recording or live stream when you want a microphone and mixer in one coordinated setup. The microphone’s cardioid pickup is designed to capture sound from the source while rejecting unwanted noise, making it a practical fit for spoken audio. The mixer adds real-time control over effects and tone, so adjustments can be made as part of the recording or broadcast workflow.

The interface supports up to two people, four devices and four platforms for simultaneous live streaming. That makes it useful for a conversation with a guest or co-host, as well as solo content. It connects with microphones, smartphones, PCs and Macs, and supports software including OBS, Discord, Zoom and Audacity. Compared with sourcing a microphone and mixer separately, this bundle groups the core audio equipment and key microphone accessories together.

## Highlights

The MaonoCaster Lite has four programmable pads and eight fixed audio effects for adding sound cues and effects to a stream or podcast. A 10-step reverb, 12-step electronic music adjustment and three modifiable tone controls for treble, mid-range and bass provide further ways to shape the audio. The DENOISE button adds an intelligent noise-reduction function for live recording.

Connect a headset to monitor input in real time while recording or streaming. The mixer uses USB-C power and has a built-in battery for recording on the move. The supplied 25mm condenser microphone is paired with a shock mount, boom arm and windscreen muff, giving you the main microphone hardware for setting up a recording position. The interface is compatible with Android, iOS, Windows and macOS devices.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Position the microphone for the speaker and use the included boom arm and shock mount to arrange it for a recording or streaming session. A headset connection lets you listen to input as it comes through, while the mixer’s pads, effects and tone controls are available for live adjustments. The included 3.5mm TRRS cables support connections in the bundle’s setup, a phone without a 3.5mm jack requires an OTG adapter, which is not included.

For a two-person broadcast, the interface supports two people and offers connections for multiple devices and platforms. Choose the software that fits the session, such as OBS for streaming or Audacity for recording, and use the included user manual to guide setup.

## Final verdict

The MAONO AU-AM200-S6 brings a 25mm condenser microphone, MaonoCaster Lite mixer and useful mounting and connection accessories into one bundle. Its programmable pads, adjustable effects, tone controls and real-time headset monitoring make it well suited to creators building a podcast, recording voice content or streaming with a guest.
