MAGICYOYO K2 Crystal Yo-Yo, Dual-Mode Plastic Beginner Model, Blue-Pink

For kids aged 8 and up learning yo-yo string tricks, the MAGICYOYO K2 Crystal starts in responsive mode: a gentle tug brings it back to the hand, making repeated throws and returns easier to practise. Its blue-pink gradient and finger-spin position add visual interest and give learners room to explore more than basic throws.

An extra unresponsive bearing lets players switch the yo-yo’s setup as their skills develop, while the included accessories keep practice essentials together.

Everyday use

The responsive setup suits early practice at home or with family: throw, bring the yo-yo back, and repeat while building hand-eye coordination. Its manual operation keeps the activity focused on timing and control, and the finger-spin position supports another technique to work towards. The product is recommended for ages 8 and up, and its listed skill level is beginner.

For someone choosing between a basic responsive yo-yo and a model intended only for advanced play, the K2 offers a step-by-step route. Start with the responsive bearing, then install the supplied unresponsive bearing when ready to practise string tricks that use a bind to return the yo-yo. This change in setup gives the same yo-yo a role across different stages of practice.

Benefits

A reliable return in responsive mode helps beginners repeat throws without needing to learn an advanced return technique first. Later, the unresponsive bearing opens up a different style of play, including string-trick practice such as 1A, 3A and 5A. The supplied bearing removal tool, axle and mini Allen key support the mode change, while the storage case helps keep the yo-yo and accessories in one place between sessions.

The plastic body weighs 64.5 g and measures 2.18 inches. With 12 strings included, players have replacements ready for ongoing practice. It also makes a practical shared activity: a parent or other family member can join in as a beginner learns timing, coordination and new tricks.
