## Description

A gentle light in the hallway can make a late-night trip easier without switching on the main lights. The L LOHAS LED GY253 plugs into a wall outlet and combines a pleated fabric shade with a dusk-to-dawn sensor, so it can provide warm ambient light when the room gets dark and switch off again at dawn.

Its dimmable LED lets you adjust the brightness from a soft glow up to 100 lumens, making it easier to tailor the light to a bedroom, living room or hallway.

The fabric shade softens the warm white light, while the metallic base adds a decorative accent. Compared with a simple exposed night-light bulb, this design brings a more lamp-like look to an outlet while still providing practical low-level lighting. The on-off switch is an included component, and the brightness adjustment gives you control over the ambience as the room’s needs change.

## Everyday compatibility
This is a plug-in light for indoor spaces, with a three-prong plug designed for a wall outlet. Its light sensor responds to ambient light, turning the night light on at dusk and off at dawn. That automatic cycle can provide hands-free lighting through the darker hours, without needing to operate the light manually each evening.

For a bedroom, set the brightness to a subdued level for a comfortable glow, in a hallway or living room, increase it for more visible illumination. The adjustable output makes one light adaptable to different rooms and routines, while the pleated shade helps the light feel softer than a bare point source.

## Best use cases
Place it near a bedroom entrance, along a hallway, or in a living room where a small amount of evening light is useful. It can also add a warm accent to a corner that benefits from both ambient lighting and a decorative detail. The compact wall-outlet format keeps it suited to spaces where a freestanding lamp would take up room, and the sensor supports regular dusk-to-dawn use.

The retro styling pairs a beige fabric shade with metallic copper-toned detailing, bringing texture to the light rather than leaving the outlet with a purely utilitarian look. Customer feedback often highlights the lamp’s appearance and adjustable warm glow. Comments on reliability are mixed, so the product’s main appeal is its combination of sensor-controlled lighting, dimming and decorative design.

## When it makes sense
Choose the GY253 when you want a night light that does more than provide a fixed, simple glow: its sensor automates the dusk-to-dawn cycle, and its dimmer lets you set the brightness for the room. The fabric-covered shade and metallic finish also suit spaces where the light will be visible during the day, not just used after dark.

It’s a good fit if you want convenient ambient lighting for everyday indoor routes and prefer a decorative plug-in design over a plain night light. Use the adjustable warm glow for gentle bedroom lighting or clearer nighttime navigation in a hallway, with automatic operation helping keep the light in step with changing ambient conditions.
