## Description

For PC and laptop users who need a simple wired headset for calls, meetings and everyday listening, the Logitech H390 connects through USB-A and is ready to use without installing software.

Its fine-tuned 30 mm drivers deliver digital stereo sound for conversations, music and games. A noise-cancelling microphone helps minimize unwanted background noise during calls.

Need to switch between listening and speaking without interrupting a conversation? In-line controls put volume adjustment and mute on the headset cable, while the rotating microphone boom can move out of the way when it’s not needed.

## Key takeaways

The H390 combines a USB-A connection with digital stereo audio in a practical wired design for a computer workspace. Plug it into a compatible computer to get started, without a software installation. It works with PC and laptop use, and is certified to work with Chromebook. Windows, macOS and ChromeOS are also listed as compatible operating systems.

For calls, the left-sided microphone boom rotates into position and helps reduce unwanted background noise. The cable-mounted controls let you adjust volume or mute without searching through on-screen menus. A 1.9 m cable gives room to shift position during longer conversations, while the adjustable headband and swivel-mounted, padded leatherette ear cushions support everyday wear. The ear cushions are easy to clean.

Buyer feedback often highlights the sound and suitability for work. Experiences with fit and microphone performance are mixed, so those impressions can vary between users and setups.

## Cleaning & care

The leatherette ear cushions are designed to be easy to clean, which is useful for a headset used regularly at a desk or shared workspace. Keep the care routine straightforward, and use the rotating boom to tuck the microphone away when you’re listening rather than speaking. The adjustable headband and swivel-mounted cushions make it easier to position the headset for use and set it aside between calls.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Connect the USB-A plug directly to a compatible computer for calls, online meetings, music or games. Before a meeting, position the microphone near your mouth and use the in-line mute control when you need to silence your audio. Volume adjustments are also within reach on the cable, so you can make a quick change while staying in the conversation.

The H390 suits a desk setup where a dependable wired connection and easy access to call controls matter more than a wireless listening arrangement. Its 1.9 m cable allows some movement while connected, and the microphone can rotate out of the way between calls. The design also includes post-consumer recycled plastic in its plastic parts, and its packaging uses FSC-certified paper.

## Final verdict

Choose the Logitech H390 for straightforward computer audio with a built-in microphone and convenient cable controls. Its USB-A plug-and-play setup, stereo sound and Chromebook compatibility make it a practical fit for work calls, online meetings and everyday listening at a PC or laptop.
