## Description

Some recording setups call for a full studio arrangement, others need a capable microphone that connects directly to a computer and fits neatly on a desk. The Logitech G Blue Yeti Nano brings USB recording and streaming features into a compact Shadow Grey design.

Use it for podcasting, voice-overs, gaming streams, YouTube videos or online meetings on a compatible PC or Mac. Its two condenser capsules and selectable pickup patterns let you tailor how it captures sound to the session.

Would you rather adjust your audio at the mic instead of interrupting your recording? Onboard controls put headphone volume, mute and pickup pattern within reach.

## Why it makes sense

The Yeti Nano is designed to make computer-based recording straightforward: connect it with the included USB cable, then use the headphone output to monitor audio with no latency. A dedicated volume control makes it easy to adjust your monitoring level, while the mute control offers a quick way to silence the mic between takes or during a call.

Choose cardioid pickup for a single voice in front of the microphone, such as a podcast or stream, or omnidirectional pickup when sound from around the mic is relevant to the session. That flexibility is useful when moving between solo recording and conversations without changing the microphone. For creators who prefer a simpler desktop setup, its compact footprint and included custom base keep the mic ready at the computer.

## Key points

Two custom condenser capsules support detailed voice recording, and Blue VO!CE effects provide additional options for shaping vocal sound in streams and recordings. Blue VO!CE requires downloading and installing Logitech G HUB. The microphone connects over USB and is compatible with PC and Mac, the listed system requirements are Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.13 or later, and a USB port.

The included contents are the Yeti Nano microphone, custom base with cable management, USB cable, 1/4-inch to 5/8-inch adapter and Quick Start Guide. At 10.9 x 9.6 x 21.1 centimetres, the microphone with stand is suited to a desktop setup where space and a tidy cable route matter. Its Shadow Grey finish also gives the recording space a coordinated, understated look.

Buyer feedback often highlights clear voice sound, straightforward setup, compact size and appearance. Experiences with reliability and connectivity are mixed, so these comments are best read as individual impressions rather than a guarantee of results. For a home recording desk, the mic’s direct USB connection, built-in monitoring and hands-on controls keep common recording adjustments close at hand.

## How to use it

Place the microphone on its base, connect it to a computer with the included USB cable, and select the pickup pattern suited to the recording. Use the headphone output and onboard volume control to monitor, and mute the mic from its control when needed. For a solo podcast or voice-over, cardioid pickup focuses on sound in front, for a conversation where voices come from around the mic, choose omnidirectional pickup. Install Logitech G HUB to access Blue VO!CE effects.

## Final verdict

For PC and Mac users who want one compact USB microphone for streaming, podcasting, recordings and calls, the Blue Yeti Nano combines two pickup patterns with no-latency headphone monitoring and convenient onboard controls. It suits a desktop creator who values flexible voice capture and quick adjustments without building a more involved recording setup.
