Its detachable boom mic adds Blue VO!CE voice tools for clearer team chat when used with the included USB sound card, Logitech G HUB and a Windows PC. Connect by USB or 3.5 mm, depending on your setup. The headset is listed for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4 and Nintendo Switch, making it easy to move between compatible gaming systems. Soft memory foam ear pads come in leatherette and breathable velour, while the detachable mic and included carrying bag make the headset practical for desk use and travel. ## How to use it Connect the headset using its USB sound card or 3.5 mm connection, then use the inline volume and mute controls to adjust chat and listening during play. For PC gaming, Logitech G HUB unlocks Blue VO!CE microphone processing, including noise reduction, compression and limiting. The USB sound card is also required for DTS 7.1 surround and object-based audio on a Windows PC with G HUB. These tools can help make voice communication cleaner and add positional cues to supported gameplay. For a PC setup with separate microphone and headphone jacks, the included splitter provides the relevant connections. The detachable boom mic can be removed, and a mobile cable with an inline mic offers another way to use the headset without the boom. A USB sound card with stored EQ profiles also lets you carry saved sound settings to tournament systems. ## What you’ll notice day to day The 50 mm PRO-G drivers are designed for clear sound imaging and improved bass response, useful for following footsteps and environmental cues while gaming. Over-ear memory foam pads provide a choice of noise-isolating leatherette or breathable velour, so you can select the feel that suits your session. A steel headband and aluminium fork support the headset’s construction, and its detachable cable makes packing it away simpler. Buyers speak positively about the headset’s customisation options, while feedback on sound, surround effects, microphone performance and comfort is mixed. Some also report durability concerns. The range of EQ options and microphone controls may appeal if you like tailoring a gaming headset to your own setup, a simpler plug-in headset is a more straightforward approach if software-based adjustments are not part of your routine. ## Key takeaways This is a wired gaming headset built around flexible connections and adjustable audio. Use the 3.5 mm connection for a compatible device, or connect through the USB sound card for PC features such as Blue VO!CE processing, DTS 7.1 and saved EQ profiles. Logitech G HUB and a Windows PC are required for those software-enabled features. The detachable microphone, inline volume and mute controls, and included carrying bag add useful options for switching between gaming, voice chat and travel. ## Buying verdict It’s a good fit if you want a wired over-ear headset that can serve several compatible gaming systems and offers PC-based control over microphone processing and EQ. The 50 mm drivers focus on in-game detail, while the removable boom mic, two ear-pad materials and USB or 3.5 mm connection let you tailor the setup to your play space. For gamers who value configurable PC audio alongside broad listed device compatibility, the PRO X brings those features together in one headset. ## Images ![Logitech G PRO X 981-000817 Wired Gaming Headset, 50 mm Drivers, Blue VO\!CE — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/CEWIzk7ULK8l1ov3YeSv9uX1s0g4LnsChKCOxCful34jdi6_2CRPYUOGHTYYcukRLRXmgB2oGfn99fB4ZQSrbNuGQLg3HiVIsnHg2XesXYB8t7fC-48mHzmThg.jpg) ![Logitech G PRO X 981-000817 Wired Gaming Headset, 50 mm Drivers, Blue VO\!CE — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/Q3_VJZcvvNytShSm3-bBkBk_FE7PGD0akqH2LTRa0lQ2x6vFNZVxdgY-bxgsPJPzXkBzaUaRaQtLWfrTkYRLp0BCdgBdGSo5ctRMt7pNC2-cr8_t2ek3Y0ibTQ.jpg) ![Logitech G PRO X 981-000817 Wired Gaming Headset, 50 mm Drivers, Blue VO\!CE — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/X0OwJHg3U8DNsKU6ZOhb7em6rhtt8d1mkImXePV9lkh6ut7kWHt5UoaCi3Faceoi7jzJlwfFSqxOtLGP58vY3b4hEdOEtV_C8u4FL5k2gnR7WvtRquMKUDuCTA.jpg) ![Logitech G PRO X 981-000817 Wired Gaming Headset, 50 mm Drivers, Blue VO\!CE — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/gm-csKXhLvBO3y8l05rYrJxvCKz4Q5Y2WrQNaINadQLjSzyeAItyMZQRZF07qD7hMTS1URXBw6O7CyXez3MBc6hA0brESPC8ekOdV7ZfCa6P79lApWK2GGqaHg.jpg) ![Logitech G PRO X 981-000817 Wired Gaming Headset, 50 mm Drivers, Blue VO\!CE — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/i_zIzs2Is_9WXwrauWPv0TJyulPZiByOcg6qH35gU5eo8Et0v7gLABZXvH74lq3TsiHBAc9tjwxxlhpweHVI9NVQjX8VhDNnG1QrOdntAeuwo-GbH6aIMirptA.jpg)
