## Description

Choosing headphones for focused listening is different from choosing a wireless pair for everyday portability. The Linsoul Kiwi Ears Altruva takes a wired, open-back approach, with a sound profile designed to resemble studio monitor tuning.

Its 50 mm dynamic drivers and balanced presentation bring music, vocals and instruments into focus. The open-back construction is designed to create a wider soundstage, adding a more spacious feel to listening.

Connect through the 3.5 mm audio jack to a compatible phone, laptop, desktop or gaming console. The detachable cable makes this a practical option for listening at a desk, enjoying films or gaming with a wired setup.

## Strengths

The Altruva’s tuning aims for clear, balanced listening rather than emphasizing bass at the expense of the rest of the mix. Bass is described as quick and punchy, while the midrange is tuned to keep vocals and instruments natural. Clear treble adds detail and a sense of air, making the headphones suitable for music sessions as well as audio monitoring.

The open-back design allows airflow into the headphones and is intended to expand soundstage and imaging. That spacious presentation can make music and game audio feel less confined than a more closed-in listening style. If your priority is a wired listening setup with an open sound and studio-inspired tuning, these features offer a distinct alternative to choosing headphones mainly for wireless convenience.

## What to know

These are over-ear, wired headphones with a 32-ohm impedance and a 50 mm dynamic driver. They connect through a 3.5 mm jack, and the product information specifies a 6.3 mm adapter plug for use with professional audio equipment. The cable is detachable. Supported device categories include cell phones, laptops, desktops and gaming consoles with a suitable audio connection.

Buyer feedback often highlights the sound presentation and comfortable, plush feel. Opinions on cable length vary, and some buyers report wear such as flaking over time. These comments are individual experiences rather than a measure of how every pair will perform, but they may help set expectations for regular use and care.

## How to use it

Connect the cable to a compatible audio jack and choose the Altruva when you want a direct, wired connection for music, films, gaming or monitoring. At a desk, the open-back tuning and clear midrange can make it easier to follow vocals and instrument parts, for games and films, the wider soundstage supports a more spacious listening presentation. The 6.3 mm adapter plug provides another connection option for compatible professional audio equipment.

## Practical questions

**Are the Altruva headphones wireless?** No. They use a wired connection through a 3.5 mm audio jack, so the listening device needs a compatible audio connection.

**Can I use them for gaming?** Yes. Gaming is one of the listed uses, and compatible devices include gaming consoles. Connect them through a suitable audio jack.

**What does the open-back design do?** It allows airflow into the headphones and is designed to create a wider soundstage and clearer spatial imaging in music.

## When it makes sense

The Kiwi Ears Altruva makes sense for listeners who want over-ear, wired headphones for music, monitoring, films or gaming, with an open-back presentation and tuning that keeps bass, vocals and treble in balance. Choose it for focused listening where its 50 mm dynamic drivers, detachable cable and spacious soundstage are useful parts of the experience.
