LEXIVON LX-145L XZN Triple Square Bit Socket Set, 4-Inch, 10-Piece S2 Steel

Practical tips

At 4 inches long, these XZN triple square bit sockets provide extra reach for recessed fasteners. The 10-piece set covers sizes from M4 to M18. Need to work on a fastener set back from the surrounding components? Its extended format is designed to help access hard-to-reach areas on European vehicles. Match the bit size to the fastener, then use a compatible manual torque tool for the task.

XZN fasteners are used in automotive applications such as cylinder head screws, retention screws, drive components and door fittings. This set is suited to jobs where that fastener profile is called for, including work on BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche vehicles. Choosing the correct XZN profile and size helps the bit seat securely and supports controlled turning.

Benefits

The long format brings the working end farther into tight spaces, while the S2 alloy steel bits are made for XZN fasteners. Heat-treated chrome vanadium sockets support turning power, and precision-chamfered bit ends are designed for easier handling and a secure fit. Together, these details make the set useful for automotive repairs where access and matching the fastener profile matter.

The finishes also have a practical purpose: the sockets’ polished chrome plating and the bits’ zinc phosphate treatment are intended to help protect against rust and corrosion. Clear size markings on the sockets and storage case make it easier to find the right piece and return it to its place between tasks. Buyers commonly praise the set’s fit, construction, storage and usefulness for European vehicle work, including Audi and Volkswagen applications.

Compared with assembling individual XZN sockets for occasional repairs, a 10-piece set keeps a range of sizes together in one case. It’s a convenient approach for a home mechanic or automotive professional who encounters different XZN fasteners and wants the relevant sizes organized and accessible.
