## Description

The ball-spring swivel design gives these impact-grade universal joints 360-degree rotation, helping you reach fasteners where a straight socket setup is difficult to position.

The set includes 1/2", 3/8" and 1/4" U-joint drives, so you can match the adapter to the drive size needed for the job. Heat-treated chrome-molybdenum steel is made for impact use.

Need to work around an obstruction or approach a fastener at an angle? A swivel joint adds flexibility where a straight extension cannot line up as easily, making it useful for automotive work and other repairs.

## How it fits

Use the LEXIVON LX-113 between a compatible power tool and impact socket when the fastener is hard to reach directly. Its swivel action lets the socket approach at an angle, which can help in tighter work areas around vehicle components or during home maintenance. Choose the adapter with the matching drive size—1/2", 3/8" or 1/4"—for your socket setup.

Compared with a straight extension, a universal joint is the more practical approach when access is offset rather than directly in line. For a fastener that is easy to reach head-on, a straight setup remains a simple choice, when alignment is awkward, the swivel adds useful movement. The spring-loaded detent ball helps hold the impact socket in place, while laser-etched size markings make it easier to identify the adapter you need.

## Pros

The three drive sizes cover common socket setups in one set, and the ball-spring design combines angled access with a retaining detent. The adapters are made from heat-treated chrome-molybdenum alloy steel and described as fully impact grade for use with high-torque impact guns. A manganese phosphate treatment is specified to help protect against rust and corrosion.

Buyers often praise the set’s sturdy construction and usefulness as an addition to a tool kit. Feedback on the swivel action is mixed: some are pleased with how the joints work, while others find the movement less smooth or the range more limited than expected. That makes the set’s main benefit clear: it offers a compact choice of drive sizes for angled access, with the swivel feel varying by user experience.

The LX-113 is suited to automotive repair, home improvement and DIY tasks where a socket needs to reach an angled or obstructed fastener. Choose this set when flexible access matters more than the direct alignment of a standard straight extension.
