## Description

With 128GB of storage in a compact metal housing, the Lexar D50E gives you a practical way to carry files between devices. Its swivel design brings USB-A and USB-C connectors together in one drive, so you can move documents, photos and other files without relying on a separate cable or a single connector type.

Read speeds reach up to 400 MB/s and write speeds up to 360 MB/s. Connect it to a compatible phone, laptop or desktop to keep everyday files close at hand and simplify transfers between USB-A and USB-C ports.

## Benefits
The dual-connector design is useful when your devices use different USB ports. For example, you can save photos from a compatible USB-C phone and then connect the drive to a computer with USB-A to access or organize them. Compared with choosing a drive that has only one connector type, the D50E offers both connections in a single compact device.

Its metal housing protects the connectors, while the swivel format keeps them together with the drive when it is stored or carried. The 128GB capacity provides room for a personal collection of files, and the stated transfer speeds make it suited to moving larger batches of content as well as everyday documents. Actual speeds can vary with the host device, full USB 3.2 Gen 1 speed requires support from the computer and cable.

Buyers commonly praise the drive’s transfer performance and the convenience of switching between USB-C and USB-A connections. Those comments reflect user impressions, while actual transfer results depend on the connected device and setup.

## At a glance
- Name: Lexar D50E
- Type: Dual-connector USB flash drive

## Usage tips
Plug the connector that matches your device’s port directly into the drive. For the full USB 3.2 Gen 1 transfer rate, the computer and cable must support that standard, on a USB 2.0 port, the drive falls back to 480 Mbps. Check that a phone supports external storage above 32GB before formatting, so it can use the drive’s full capacity. The Lexar App offers photo backup and media management on iOS and Android, iCloud content backup is not supported.

## Before you decide
**Which devices can I connect it to?** The USB-A and USB-C connectors are designed for compatible devices such as smartphones, desktops and laptops. The product information also identifies iPhone 17 and Android devices as compatible, phone support for external storage can vary by device.

## Should you buy it?
Choose the Lexar D50E if you want one portable 128GB drive for moving files between compatible USB-C and USB-A devices.
