## Description

For homeowners planning permanent eave lighting, the Lepro E1 Plus AI E1-90Y brings a 150 ft light layout and 90 individually controllable LED nodes to rooflines, gables and ridges. It’s designed for year-round exterior accents as well as seasonal displays.

Choose RGBIC colour effects or tunable white light, from 2200K warm white to 6500K cool white. That range makes it easy to shift from everyday roofline illumination to more colourful holiday scenes.

A dual-output controller splits the lights into two directions, helping create a tidier layout across different roofline shapes. App control, voice-assistant support and scheduled lighting give you practical ways to manage the display.

## Benefits

RGBIC control lets you set custom colours and dynamic effects light by light, rather than treating the whole run as a single-colour strip. Use bright white downlighting for a subtle everyday accent, then switch to vibrant colours for Christmas, Halloween or other occasions. The warm and cool white options add flexibility when you want a more restrained look.

The 150 ft layout is supplied as six 25 ft light strings, with 90 LED nodes in total. Its dual-output controller sends the run in two directions, which can help follow a roofline without leaving an awkward gap or excess cable in the middle. For a closer fit around gables and ridges, the layout can be adjusted by removing 1–10 tail lights.

Mount the lights with the 3M VHB tape and reinforce the installation with the supplied stainless steel screws. The strings and power supply are rated IP67, while the controller is IP65 and the housing is UV-resistant. The lights are specified to operate from -4°F to 104°F (-20°C to 40°C), supporting a permanent outdoor setup across the stated temperature range.

## Key takeaways

Control the lights through the Lepro app or with Alexa and Google Assistant. Connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network to use the app’s full features and voice-assistant control, the controller needs a strong Wi-Fi signal. Bluetooth provides access to most app features within approximately 5 m / 16.5 ft, but does not support Alexa connectivity.

The app includes timers, scheduled routines, group control and AI-assisted scene suggestions through LightGPM. Built-in WS2811 ICs also support basic local WLED integration. For WLED, a separate 24V WLED controller and 24V power supply are required, the Lepro power adapter is 29V.

## Usage tips

Plan the light path around the eaves, gables and ridges before mounting the strings. The two-direction output can help organize the route, while the removable tail lights allow adjustments for a closer fit. Use both the adhesive tape and stainless steel screws for the installation, and place the controller where it can receive a strong Wi-Fi signal if you want app and voice control.

This permanent-lighting approach suits homeowners who want a consistent exterior setup instead of installing seasonal strings for each display. Once mounted, the same lights can serve as everyday white accents or be changed through the app for holidays and other occasions.

## Is it worth it?

It makes sense if you want one outdoor system to cover both routine roofline lighting and custom seasonal effects. The individually controlled RGBIC nodes, tunable white output and dual-direction layout give you options for shaping the look, while app scheduling and Alexa or Google Assistant control make day-to-day changes straightforward. For a permanent eave installation that can shift between understated white light and colourful displays, the E1-90Y combines a substantial 150 ft run with flexible control.
