## Description

Sear in a skillet, simmer a sauce and steam vegetables with one coordinated cookware set. The Lagostina Forte brings together everyday pans and larger pots, so you can move from a quick meal to cooking for a group without piecing together separate collections.

Its tri-ply clad construction combines stainless steel with an aluminium core that extends from the base through the sides. That design supports even heat distribution, while tempered glass lids let you keep an eye on cooking as heat is retained.

If you mainly need a couple of pans for simple meals, a smaller selection may suit your routine. For a kitchen that also needs saucepans, a deep sauté pan, a stockpot and a steamer insert, this 12-piece set offers more ways to prepare a meal in parallel.

## Size & fit

The set includes two skillets for frying and searing, two lidded saucepans for sauces or sides, and a deep sauté pan for dishes that need more room. An 8 Qt. stockpot gives you a larger vessel for batch cooking, while the steamer insert adds another way to prepare vegetables and other foods. This mix suits routines that range from a quick stovetop meal to several components cooking at once.

Stainless steel handles are riveted for a secure hold, and flared pouring rims help guide liquids from the pans with less mess. The tempered glass lids make it easier to monitor food without lifting the lid during cooking.

## What stands out

The aluminium core runs through the base and sides, helping distribute heat across the cookware rather than concentrating the construction at the base alone. A stainless steel cooking surface is suited to everyday cooking, including searing, while the set’s range of pan shapes supports simmering, sautéing, steaming and larger-pot cooking.

The cookware works on all cooktops, including induction, and is oven safe up to 400°F / 204°C. It is also dishwasher safe, a practical feature when a meal uses several pieces. Buyer feedback praises the set’s appearance, durability and everyday functionality. Some buyers also report food sticking or staining, while opinions on cleaning and value vary, these are individual experiences rather than a measure of how every kitchen will use the set.

## Buying verdict

Choose the Lagostina Forte when you want one stainless steel set for a varied stovetop routine, rather than a few individual pans for a narrower set of tasks.
