## Description

For music, gaming or travel, the KZ Castor puts a wired in-ear monitor in your everyday setup with a bass-forward Harman-inspired tuning. Its dual dynamic driver arrangement gives you a defined way to shape how your audio sounds.

Four tuning switches adjust the low and high frequencies, so you can tailor the presentation to different music styles. The detachable cable and standard 3.5 mm connection keep the setup straightforward with compatible devices.

Silicone eartips help create a close fit that also provides sound isolation. Choose the tip size that sits comfortably in your ear for listening at home, on the move or while gaming.

## Product specs
- Name: KZ Castor
- Type: Wired in-ear monitors
- Colour: Gray
- Connectivity: Detachable cable, 3.5 mm audio jack
- Compatibility: Laptops, desktops, tablets and cell phones with an audio jack
- Reference: Castor

The Castor uses a 10 mm dual-magnetic dynamic driver alongside an 8 mm dynamic driver. Its four switches provide two adjustment stages for bass and two for treble, combining into 16 possible sound profiles. This makes it a more customizable choice than fixed-tuning wired earbuds: you can adjust the sound to suit your listening preferences rather than relying on a single preset. The Harman bass edition emphasizes low-frequency response while keeping the mid and high frequencies aligned with its Harman-based tuning target.

Buyers often highlight the sound presentation, including clear vocals and a sense of direction and space, as well as the fit and comfort. These are individual impressions, but they point to the qualities listeners tend to notice when using the Castor for music and games.

## Practical tips
Start with the tuning switches in their default position, then adjust the bass and treble to find a profile that suits the content. For bass-led tracks, the edition’s enhanced low-frequency tuning offers a more pronounced foundation, for other music, the adjustable settings give you room to refine the balance. The switches are on the earphones, so make any changes while the monitors are out of your ears.

For a comfortable, secure fit and effective passive sound isolation, try the included silicone tips and select the size that fits your ear canal. When connecting, use a device’s 3.5 mm audio jack. The detachable cable can also be disconnected from the monitors for storage or replacement with a compatible cable.

## Box contents
The package includes the Castor monitors, a cable, a user manual and three pairs of silicone eartips. The range of tip sizes helps you choose a fit suited to your ears, while the cable provides the wired connection for listening.

## What to clarify
**Can I adjust the sound?** Yes. Four switches offer two stages of bass adjustment and two stages of treble adjustment, creating 16 possible sound profiles.

**How do I connect the Castor to a device?** It uses a wired 3.5 mm audio connection and is listed for use with laptops, desktops, tablets and cell phones that have a compatible audio jack.

**Does this version have a microphone?** No. This is the without-mic version, intended for listening rather than calling through an integrated microphone.

## Final verdict
The KZ Castor is suited to listeners who want wired in-ear monitors with a bass-forward sound and hands-on tuning options. Its dual dynamic drivers, adjustable bass and treble, detachable cable and included silicone tips make it a practical fit for music, gaming and everyday listening with a 3.5 mm device.
