KIDECCE L518 Rechargeable Headlamps, 2-Pack, 230° Beam and Motion Sensor

What you’ll notice day to day

This two-pack of rechargeable KIDECCE L518 headlamps gives you hands-free light for outdoor activities and practical tasks. Each lamp combines a 230° wide beam with a spotlight for a choice between broad visibility and a more focused view. The motion sensor lets you switch the light on with a hand wave, keeping operation simple when your hands are busy.

The wide beam is useful when setting up camp, walking the dog or working close to a task, where seeing more of the surrounding area matters. For a more concentrated view, use the spotlight to direct light towards a particular spot. With two headlamps in the pack, you can keep one ready for another outing or have a second available for a companion.

Five lighting modes cover different needs: COB high and low, XPE high and low, and strobe. The motion-sensor function offers another hands-free way to operate the lamp. Its adjustable headband and lightweight design support wear during activities such as hiking, running, cycling and fishing. A stated maximum output of 3,000 lumens and a light path distance of 180 metres add useful detail when choosing a headlamp for visibility beyond close-up tasks.

What to know

The L518 is USB rechargeable and includes a Type-C charging cable. The listed runtime is 3–8 hours after a full charge, with the product details describing up to 8 hours of use. Actual mode choice is worth considering when planning an outing: the high settings, lower settings and strobe serve different lighting situations. The motion sensor is handy when switching the lamp on with a wave is easier than pressing a button.

The headlamp is described as IPX5 waterproof, with protection against water splashing from different directions. That makes it suitable for activities where rain or splashes may be part of the conditions. Its silicone material, adjustable elastic headband and foam cushion at the back are practical details for a comfortable fit during extended wear. The package includes two headlamps, two USB charging cables, eight helmet clips and a user manual.

When choosing between a narrow, focused beam and a broad light for nearby surroundings, this design offers both approaches in one headlamp. For a campsite setup, for example, the wide beam can help illuminate the area while you arrange gear, the spotlight can then direct attention to a specific task.

Usage tips

Choose the COB or XPE setting that suits the task, and use high or low output to match the amount of light you need. The strobe mode is available as a separate option. For sensor operation, wave a hand in front of the lamp to turn it on. Adjust the headband for a secure fit before setting out, and use the included charging cable to recharge the lamp after use. The helmet clips provide another way to mount the headlamp when that setup suits your activity.
