## Description

The 12 ft twin extension cord splits into two 6 ft leads, with three grounded outlets on each side. This layout gives you a way to serve devices in two directions from one central splitter, which can be useful when a desk, media setup or shared room has plugs spread across more than one area.

Its low-profile flat plug lets furniture sit closer to the wall, while the built-in accessory loop offers a handy way to hang or store the cord. For a single run of power to one area, a conventional extension cord may suit the job, this split design is geared toward distributing outlets on both sides.

## Practical tips

Place the splitter where both leads can reach the devices you plan to use, then route each 6 ft side toward its group of equipment. The three-outlet arrangement on each side can help keep a home office desk, entertainment area or dorm room organized without bringing separate extension cords from the same wall outlet. The flat plug is especially practical behind furniture, where a standard plug may project farther from the wall.

Use the cord indoors in dry locations, such as a home, office, dorm room, kitchen or living room. Its built-in loop can be used for hanging or wall mounting, and the four self-adhesive cable clips help guide and organize the cord along a surface. Keep the combined electrical load of connected devices within the cord’s rated capacity.

## Why it’s worth it

The split layout is the main advantage: instead of concentrating every connection at one end, it places three outlets along each branch. That can make it easier to power devices on opposite sides of a desk or room from one cord, while the flat plug helps keep the connection close to the wall. The accessory loop and included cable clips also support a neater setup, whether the cord is in use or being stored.

For example, a home office can use one branch for equipment near the desk and the other for devices positioned on the other side of the room. The grounded outlets accommodate multiple connected devices, subject to the cord’s stated electrical rating. You’ll like it if you need a practical indoor extension cord that divides its outlets between two reachable areas.

## Buying verdict

Choose the K KASONIC twin extension cord when you want six grounded outlets distributed across two 6 ft sides, rather than grouped together at one end. Its flat plug, hanging loop and included cable clips add useful flexibility for organizing an indoor setup in a dry location.
