Jollybower SPS-50CA Steel Plant Stakes, 6 Feet, Plastic-Coated, 50 Pack

Support tomatoes, beans or flowering plants as they grow by placing a stake alongside each plant that needs upright guidance. The Jollybower SPS-50CA set includes 50 green, plastic-coated steel stakes, each 6 feet long. Their coated finish is designed to resist sunlight and rust, making them suitable for ongoing garden support across multiple seasons.

The pointed, bevelled ends help the stakes enter the soil, while the long format gives climbing plants and branches room to grow alongside a stable support. Use them individually or as building pieces for a trellis or plant cage, depending on how you want to arrange support in your garden.

Usage tips

Push each stake into the soil beside the plant it will support. The sharp, bevelled end is designed to make insertion easier, in denser soil, make a pilot hole first. Once positioned, use suitable ties to secure climbing growth or branches to the stake, keeping the support close enough to guide the plant as it develops.

For plants that need support across a wider area, the stakes can also be used to build a trellis or plant cage. This makes the set useful for more than one layout: place individual stakes where specific stems need guidance, or arrange several together to create a shared structure. Choose the arrangement that suits the plants and the available garden space.

Everyday use

In a vegetable garden, stakes can guide tomatoes and beans upwards and help support stems carrying heavy fruit. For flowers, shrubs and young trees, they provide a point to secure branches and encourage vertical growth. Supporting stems can help keep fruit and flowers from weighing them down, while the open arrangement can allow air to circulate through the plant. Foliage can also naturally shade ripening fruit.

The green coating gives the stakes a garden-friendly appearance, and the plastic layer is described as weather-resistant, sunlight-resistant and rustproof. It is also intended to keep the colour from coming off on your hands when wet. Hollow steel construction provides upright guidance for plants, while the pack of 50 lets you place supports around several plants or build a larger arrangement. Compared with relying on one shared structure, individual stakes make it straightforward to add support at particular stems, when broader coverage is useful, the same stakes can form a trellis or cage.

Should you buy it?

Choose the Jollybower SPS-50CA if your garden needs a supply of tall, reusable supports for climbing plants, branches, shrubs or fruit-bearing stems. The 50-stake set combines 6-foot reach with a plastic-coated steel build, so it can serve as individual plant supports or as the framework for a trellis or cage. It is a practical fit for gardeners who want to guide growth vertically and provide support across multiple plants using one coordinated set.
