JETech 1357- Privacy Screen Protector for iPhone 17 Pro Max, 2-Pack Tempered Glass

Some screen protectors focus on everyday screen coverage, this one also helps keep your display private from people beside you. The JETech 1357- is made for iPhone 17 Pro Max and uses a viewing filter that makes the screen visible only to someone directly in front of it.

The two-pack includes an installation tool for alignment, while the tempered glass has a 9H hardness rating and a coating designed to reduce fingerprints, oil and watermarks. It’s a practical combination for daily phone use in shared spaces.

Key takeaways

The privacy filter is useful when checking messages, browsing or handling personal information in places where others may be nearby. Its directional viewing effect keeps the display for the person looking straight at it, adding a layer of visual privacy without changing how you use the phone.

The protector is made from glossy tempered glass with a 9H hardness rating and a scratch-resistant design. An oleophobic and hydrophobic coating helps prevent fingerprints, oil and watermarks from gathering on the surface. High sensitivity is also listed as a feature, so the protector is designed for responsive screen interaction.

Buyer feedback often highlights the privacy effect and ease of installation. Experiences are mixed for visibility, alignment and achieving a bubble-free fit, and some buyers report cracking or shattering. These comments reflect individual experiences rather than a guarantee of how a protector will perform.

Size & fit

This protector is designed specifically for the 6.9-inch iPhone 17 Pro Max. It is not intended for iPhone 17, iPhone Air or iPhone 17 Pro, so matching the exact phone model is important before installation. Its 2.5D curved edges are designed to work with most phone cases, making it suitable for a setup where a case is part of everyday use.

The pack contains two privacy screen protectors and an easy installation tool. That gives you a second protector for another installation, or a replacement when needed, while keeping both pieces intended for the same phone model.

Practical tips

Use the included tool to align the protector with the iPhone 17 Pro Max display during installation. Careful positioning helps keep the edges even and the privacy filter centred over the screen. Once fitted, the directional filter is best suited to situations where you want the display visible from directly in front, such as checking your phone while seated beside other people.

Choose this style when privacy is a priority alongside scratch protection. A clear, non-privacy protector serves a different purpose, this JETech option adds a viewing filter, so it makes more sense for shared settings such as transit, waiting areas or a busy workplace. The glossy surface and fingerprint-resistant coating support regular screen use while helping reduce visible residue.
